Eric Thomas is a guitarist and songwriter first before he is a singer, who composes in the realms of pop, rock and everything in between. Music was always something that he loved, but not until the age of 13 did he look at it as something he loved doing when he picked up the guitar for the first time. And two years later, he started writing his own songs. In just 5 years, he has already written and recorded over 200 songs, most of which were recorded without ever leaving the comfort of home. 

His major influence as a songwriter is Green Day, but he enjoys an array of musical styles, and he cites that "The Beatles are the greatest group in music history" and also says that "the 90s was the best decade in music as it had the perfect blend of pop and rock". Just to name a few, artists from the 90s he loves are The Corrs, Smashmouth, Nirvana, The Offspring, Rancid, The Cranberries and so on. But he also enjoys a lot of what contemporary pop offers today.

The music that he writes are musically diverse which include punk, pop punk, jazz pop, acoustic, instrumental blues and whatever else there is to explore.

Eric will be hoping to make his mark as a songwriter in the future, collaborating with other artists on musical endeavours. In the meantime, he'll continue on churning out song after song.
