Our next set for Front Left is dedicated to the dance floor junkies. 3 recorded hours of a marathon 5 hour b2b from Brooklyn besties ciringe and evilo set at the Elsewhere loft this past September. This one is fast and unrelenting, with a soft spot for the funk DNA of techno. Front Left is an acknowledgment that sometimes the best place to dance freely isn’t in the main room. Sometimes you escape the claustrophobia of a packed stage, finding relief upstairs. Ciringe and Evilo maneuver deftly, passing headphones back and forth, drawing you in. Front Left is telling yourself that you’ll leave after the next track and then ok maybe after the next one and so on until the harsh white lights overhead surprise you and you realized you’ve been lost in the groove for the past few hours.
