Born in Brooklyn, New York at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital to two parents from Panama who read, wrote and spoke fluent English and Spanish although had Grandparents of West Indian descent. Somewhere on St. Johns Place between Rogers and Nostrand Ave. was the apartment he went home to after being born on October 4th years ago. His parents had always sought to “move on up” since arriving in Brooklyn 2 years before his birth. His parent’s first apartment was on Bristol Street in Brownsville Brooklyn before Eternal Intellect was conceived. Shady dealings of the landlord and his insistence of subjecting his tenants to unlivable conditions made the decision to move quickly toward owning their own home a “No Brainer.” Music was always the great refuge for Eternal. Listening to a combination of bands like Grand Combo, Reggae music close friends of his parents introduced him to and of course R&B ran through his soul. Classic Rock and top radio hits were always coming through his father’s radio as well. Eternal was known to sit in some of his mother’s best chairs and rock back and forth listening to music hours on end. It was by far his favorite thing to do. After moving to Amityville, Long Island (New York) a close friend of his older brother had introduced him to WBLS, WKTU and radio stations of that ilk. This would change music for ever as far as Eternal was concerned. He no longer wanted to listen to music and ruin his mother’s chairs, he imagined making it. All his favorite songs from all of his favorite stations he would imagine putting albums together and performing them. From writing all of the song names down he was always sitting beside the radio with a writing utensil and something to write on anyway. Then he heard Hip Hop, his second life changing event. It was amazing to him that other individuals could put words over incredible beats and the breakdowns within the beats, spun back precisely (although you didn’t hear the spin back), introduced by what was referred to as a cut. Eternal mastered writing rhymes over beats; however his wide range of musical exposure would enable him to write to almost any genre if he just changed the style in which he delivered it. After years of writing books and volumes of his own songs Eternal Intellect (E I) is a polished professional Emcee. His style of speech is reminiscent of Heavenly thoughts delivered uniquely for those on Earth, Universally going through Hell, trying their best to come out Right. Lyrics thought provoking and down to Earth delivered both Divinely with the ability to equally Destroy. Able to relate to individuals of various walks of life, Eternal Intellect is exactly what’s missing.
