This is a little rendition I did for my new album, The Simple Gospel. I feel like sometimes songs like this are perceived as cliché, or worn out. I really like the simple, child-like message of this song, so I tried to make it new. I also managed to squeeze in a little tin whistle solo on this one.

Dry Bones

Ethan McGrath's musical setting of a poem from 'Toomai of the Elephants,' a story by Rudyard Kipling. This poem is written from the perspective of Kala Nag, a domesticated elephant who escapes one night to join in the dance of the wild elephants in the jungle.
