Tribal Bass is an umbrella term for electronic music with a downtempo feel and a breaking groove, that combines progressive sound design with organic elements and deep sub-bass. PsyDub, GlitchHop, post dubstep, deep-step, global beats, ethnic trap, space grime, world bass, neuro-funk, raga-bass, hard-wave, farmer-trap, trip garage, leftfield bass, hybrid breaks, ... you name it, if it slaps and it represents the globalized music community it can be part of our co-creation.

For this summer we'd like to bring everyone closer together. To gather the global community of artists, visionaries, thinkers, doers, ... to unify in consciousness and vibration that was has been divided and separated for so long by indoctrination and cultures of dominance and unbalance. 
We believe in the force of music as a unifier and expander of consciousness and we aim to steer away from discrimination, privilege, brand culture and other aspects by having a low threshold towards artists and creatives.

Ovnimoon Records presents the new album from Sheewton called Distant Thoughts a very special progressive psytrance journey with eight Chillout and Downtempo influenced slow chugging epics woven with stories about nature’s beauty and places beyond the stars and deep within you. Sheewton is a project Formed by Ivaner Soares from Brazil in 2005. Ivaner began his career as a DJ, always playing harmonious and memorable sets, ranging from Techno to Psytrance.  With solid dedication, he began studies in music production, and is currently producing Progressive Psytrance and Progressive Chillout.  Sheewton is a promising producer for this style of music and his songs are always well defined, with striking melodies and psychedelic atmospheres. This double compilation materializes the ever existing oppositions in any form of things in life (plus or minus, good or bad, light and dark, yes or no, black and white ...) and the difficulty to make choices.

His creator wanted to depict the permanent opposition between left and right brain in his head, turning every decision making into a violent inner fight betwenn both most extreme points of view. The only answer lies right in the middle of this opposition, carracterised only by the equivalent distance betwenn both these extremes.

Modifyre 2020 - Our very first virtual burn 🔥 🔥 🔥

Was lucky enough to play a set for The Wonky Queenslander Theme Camp and have it live streamed out to the cyber paddock!

A full circle moment considering I had my very first glimpse into the realm of performance at Modifyre just a few years ago, I found myself up late surrounded by a handful of friends and an extensive selection of vinyl in the Last Drinks Caravan at Sunset Ducks and couldn't resist the temptation to play

In that moment I understood what all the hype was about, the connection felt as we danced and sang along together to songs so close to my heart, it lit a spark within me and has led me directly to this moment in time.

Feeling fortunate to be part of a community that inspires, supports and encourages creative escapades proving time and time again that we are limited only by our imagination!
