En nuestra segunda entrega presentamos a Andrea Zapata con una selección de finas piezas de arte sonoro para Ethereal Selections.

Nacida en Tacna y criada en Lima, Perú, Andrea Zapata es un talento emergente de Perú que rápidamente se está haciendo un nombre en la escena de la música electrónica. Ha estado tocando en diferentes ciudades del Perú como Lima, Cusco, Máncora, Arequipa, por mencionar algunas.

Para ella, la música es una forma de expresión y encuentra inspiración en sus sentimientos, en la vida cotidiana y en la naturaleza. Ella cree que la conexión creada entre el oyente y cada sesión es un proceso único que puede llevarlo a sanar sus emociones, mente y alma. Ella sabe que hay personas que asisten a fiestas solo por diversión, pero también hay otras que buscan sanación espiritual a través de la música. En sus actuaciones busca equilibrar ambos conceptos y llevar a todos los oyentes en un solo viaje.

Le apasionan los sonidos profundos e hipnóticos del techno y sus subgéneros experimentales que siempre parecen ofrecer un viaje trascendental con una atmósfera inmersiva que sumerge al público en la misma frecuencia.

ØSC was created in 2018 by Ricardo Ruggeri, DJ and producer born in Messina in 1991,  focused on express a sound concept based on hypnotic sounds created by the passion and musical experience acquired over time.

Ethereal Selection 05 - N'es

"Turkish producer, born in 1995. Adopting a style that prioritizes production rather than djing in his music career, preferring hypnotic techno in both. 
He mostly prefers to add pieces with sharp sounds to the sets. 
The beginning and the end of the sets are progressing in a slow process. 
It provides compatibility in the story in this set.
In the pieces, on the other hand, he plays with the frequency of the sounds and tries to catch the sounds that are random but appealing to aliens.
 In the past, he has released EPs and LPs from different record companies such as Oxytech, Diffuse Reality, Basse-Cour to find his style. 
For the past two years he has found his own sound in hypnotic techno. 
He has EPs to be released in the future at Diffuse Reality, Liminal Space, Ancestral Process and Granular Spectrum.
