Beirut's blend of Western and Arabic music styles has
established it as a global cultural hub. Michael, known as
“Mashrik," moved from Lebanon to the U.S. in 2015. He
began music theory studies at the age of 12, mastering
electric guitar and flute. Influenced by electronic music
and inspired by New York City's diverse cultural scene,
he became a DJ/Music Producer, infusing his work with
his Middle Eastern heritage.


Anticipate Mashrik's sound to be distinct and
unconventional, incorporating world music elements in
his performances. His music is characterized by its
melodic richness, groovy rhythms, and energetic
beats, creating a vibrant and engaging dancing and
listening experience.

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie was introduced to music as she grew up practically in the recording studio owned by her father. He quickly transmitted his passion and interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teens, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds ;)

Since February 2015, Julie has been hosting her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’

Illumination – Hope To God

In the mid-1990s, two restless explorers of sound—Nicholas Sillitoe and Per Martinsen—came together as Illumination, a project that blurred the boundaries between studio precision and live improvisation. Their language was electronica, but one spoken with lo-fi grit, hi-fi clarity, and a deep trust in the energy of machines and the spontaneity of performance.

Released in 1995 on their +47 label, Hope To God arrived first as a 12″ single with raw, driving versions from Martinsen and a collaborative Istigkeit mix. Soon after, it re-emerged in the UK as a double 12″ and CD-EP, now expanded with atmospheric re-interpretations from kindred spirits, most notably Biosphere’s glacial remix.

The track became a touchstone in the Norwegian underground: hypnotic, searching, carried by layers of analog warmth and vocal fragments that felt half-remembered, half-divine. It embodied Illumination’s ethos—music that could be both a club weapon and a private prayer.

Decades on, Hope To God still resonates as more than a track: it is a moment in time, a reminder of a scene inventing itself, and a plea whispered through circuits that the future might yet hold light.

Resonance is a relentless journey through pulsing techno soundscapes. Each track is built on hypnotic rhythms, distorted voices, and driving low-end textures. From the dark echoes of Voices Fase to the communal energy of We Are the Sound and the fiery intensity of We Burn, the album captures the raw force of the underground. Afterhaven delivers a soundtrack that is both industrial and euphoric — perfect for peak-time rave floors.

El título de mi canción "Mirada al Cielo" representa a Heru (Horus) en la antigua Kemet; simboliza la visión, la elevación y la búsqueda constante de reinos superiores. Así como la mirada de Heru estaba fija en el cielo, esta canción transmite esa misma energía: elevarse, buscar la claridad y canalizar la perspectiva divina.

Para mí, "Mirada al Cielo" no es solo un título; es un reflejo tanto del espíritu ancestral de Kemet como del viaje del sonido que eleva al oyente.

The title of my track Skyward Gaze represents Heru (Horus) in ancient Kemet; symbolizing vision, elevation, and the constant striving towards higher realms. Just as Heru’s gaze was fixed on the skies, this track carries that same energy: rising above, seeking clarity, and channeling divine perspective.

For me, Skyward Gaze isn’t just a title, it’s a reflection of both the ancient spirit of Kemet and the journey of sound that lifts the listener upwards.
