💙 Here we go 🐈‍⬛: This is my debut set @kater_blau in May 2022. It was total bliss to play at one of Berlin's finest clubs for the first time. A place where I've made so many nuts memories over the last years. 
Many thanks to all the lovely people who danced with me that night! I had so much fun to max out the sound system at Hopper!

Gesundheit und Gesang 

Singen und Gesang im allgemeinen hat einen stark gesundheitsfördernden Effekt auf den Menschen. Die im Mundraum erzeugten Töne versetzen den gesamten Körper in Schwingung. Von der Haarwurzel bis zum kleinen Zeh verfallen alle Zellen in einen bewegten Zustand. Die Vibration unterstützt die Organe bei der Ausführung ihrer Funktionen. Leber und Niere können besser Schadstoffe abtransportieren, das Blut einfacher zirkulieren und die Lunge mehr Sauerstoff aufnehmen. Insgesamt betrachtet ist das Sammelsurium von positiven Effekten durch Gesang schier unendlich. 
Singen verbindet sowohl makroperspektivisch zwischen Nationen, Kulturen und Lebensweisen als auch auf der Mikroebene zwischen Körper, Geist und Seele. Auch wenn die Töne nicht immer sitzen, erfüllen sie dich unweigerlich ihren Zweck. 

Der KataHaifisch Podcast 278 von LangLang startet mystisch und leicht verspielt. Einprägsame Vocals rezitieren uralt anmutende Mantren, während schnarrende Bässe den Subbereich mit Obertönen befüllen. Zusammengekittet werden die Elemente durch rhythmische Percussions. Sie treiben die Musik mit sanftem Druck durch den Verlauf des Sets. Insgesamt inkludiert dieser Podcast die gesamte Bandbreite der Emotionen und bereitet dementsprechend Freude <3

Bei diesem ungewöhnlich ausgedehnten KataHaifisch Podcast handelt es sich um ein Live-Recording von einer Mysticcreatures Tanzveranstaltung. Am 24.09.2022 wurden die beiden Musikschaffenden firgun & Heyoka zu einer Party der Berliner VA-Reihe eingeladen. Insgesamt 4 Stunden und 20 Minuten spielten sich die beiden in die Herzen und das Gedächtnis der Gäste. Bei einer solch umfassenden Reise durch die Sphären des Downtempo Genres ist musikalisch gesehen alles in diesem Set enthalten. Passagenweise wird es aufbrausend und energetisch, dann mal wieder nachdenklich und melancholisch. Zeitweise wandelt sich die Stimmung hin zu einer kindergleichen Leichtigkeit und wohlwollenden Unbeschwertheit.

In diesem Podcast wird alles Geboten und ist für jeden was dabei. Dankeschön <3

In this mix I featured every Persian song, and every Persian artist, that Sol Selectas has released thus far, along with a few other songs by Persian friends, and Persian run labels. Sol Selectas has always embraced the beautiful art and music of Iran, and we pride ourselves on being a cultural voice for the people. Now more than ever, that voice needs to be heard loud and strong. 
“Azadi” means “Freedom” in Farsi, and it is the most basic human right which we all must have. 
This mix is dedicated to the women in Iran, who have been fighting and protesting for 2 months now, for exactly this right. 
The current situation in Iran hits very close to home, as my wife was born and raised there. She dealt directly with the challenges of being a woman in Iran. 
I like to think that I speak through my music, and I tell a story with my sets. This DJ mix is not just me speaking, however, it is the voice of an entire nation, and they are literally shouting for their lives right now. None of the mainstream media is reporting on this, so I hope that WE, collectively as a music community, can rise up, and be their voice. Please share this music far and wide, and raise awareness about the revolution that is unfolding in Iran.
