A fresh mix for our series is by Russian producer Пайта (Paita), the resident of Fuselab and ЛЕЙБЛ (LABEL). This August he performed on Signal festival as part of the Garden of Beatriz camp. Also he released the album «Прозрачность соленых ресниц» (Prozrachnost solyonyh resnits) featuring Archanga, Проделки больной головы (Prodelki bolnoy golovy), Boringroom, NWIII, мс улыбочка (mc ulybochka) and FMSAO.

Собранная из личных архивов аудиоработа отражает историческую и культурную многослойность Дома Наркомфина.

Участники музыкального проекта Kosaya Gora — Кедр Ливанский и Флати — создали коллаж из найденных в семейных архивах пленок, собственных полевых записей и новой музыки, записанной после посещения Дома Наркомфина. Меланхолический саундскейп вплетает голоса прошлого в тревожную звуковую ткань настоящего, совпадая с ощущением нестройности и нелинейности времени в здании, хранящем следы своей непростой истории. Там, где историко-культурные слои сосуществуют одновременно (как старая проводка соседствует с современной отделкой), прошлое оживает из небытия. Оживает и на уровне совмещения техник звукозаписи — в соседстве записей со старых бобин и с диктофона на смартфоне. ‍

Paperwall story — греза, обратная мрачной фантазии авангардного художника и поэта Велимира Хлебникова о «радио будущего», разносящем «стаи вестей из жизни духа», человеческую речь и неземное пение «молнийных птиц», но обладающая той же чарующей силой.

Kosaya Gora — инди-проект электронного продюсера и певицы Кедра Ливанского и экспериментального продюсера и визуального художника Флати. Для обоих участников проект задает новые направления художественных практик. Дебютный альбом проекта — Kosogor — гитарный фолк, соединенный с призрачным дрим-попом и гипнотическим вокалом.

Nerd Syndicate began as a small collective in early 2020. This project was originally conceived as a way to turn the spotlight on the outcast side of electronic music scene. Some of the artists, whose works are featured in this compilation, are making their debut here, while some are more established, but, nonetheless, share the same outsider vision as we do. More experienced artists might draw attention to the emerging ones. We lift each other up. 

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact genre spectrum of the release. This body of work is an infantile collection of broken sounds and split perception experiences. We are all drawn to reinventing syncopated riddims and finding pleasure in haunting soundscapes, detailed sound designs.  

After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, this compilation underwent a significant change. All the profits from this release will be donated to an NGO helping people in Ukraine. We also welcome you to donate to the organization directly.

Kosaya Gora (“oblique mountain”) is a brand new indie project from acclaimed electronic producer/singer Kedr Livanskiy and experimental producer/visual artist Flaty. Though the duo are no strangers to artistic collaboration, Kosaya Gora is an entirely new sonic direction for both of them. Their debut album Kosogor is a multilingual foray into guitar-based folk, haunting dream pop, and moody synth, underpinned by Livanskiy’s signature hypnotic vocals.

Ушко — артистка и продюсерка электронной музыки, в песнях которой слышится влияние танцевальной поп-музыки 2000-х и 2010-х от транса до британского гэриджа. В ее свободной от субкультурных штампов музыке сочетаются искренность и ирония, лирика и брейккор. В последнем альбоме WET_HITS, где отметились Moa Pillar и Kedr Livanskiy, мультижанровость соединяется с лиричностью и эксцентричным вокалом.

Meet new ethereal mix prepared by the Rai project - an independent experimental electronic group from Moscow, consisting of Nastya Pavlova, Georgy Yakubov (dj 8luetic) and Al Durahi Lamia Musallem (lam).

At the end of last month, the team presented their debut mini-album “Palindr0m”, which was composed in two days in a workshop on Komsomolsky Prospekt together with DJ HeadSick.

In August, the trio gave a concert at the “Raiskoe” exhibition in the “Sklad №3” art space. Nastya and Lamia presented their drawings and posters, and also played the mix “Ya zhivu v bashn3 4aya na ulitz3 kof3”, which was later released on their Soundcloud page.

A year earlier, the artists were included in the lineup of the “shalash” event from the "Pole" cultural center.
