For a new episode of our regular ethereal mixes, we invited audiovisual artist Manuel Sékou, also operating under the moniker luxxuryproblems.

The artist’s mixes appear to a listener as diaries of subtle, seemingly tangible sensations and labyrinths of images. In the new material, he layers microtunes onto texture-rich fragments, as if breaking the recording into a series of successive frames.

Previously, luxxuryproblems was published on labels such as SPA, 76666 and Gem Tones, and has also contributed tracks to compilations from Katharsis, Sirens, World Canvas, Comic Sans and Infinito Audio. Two years ago, his latest mini-album “Flexfit” was released on SPA.

this is my most ambitious project to date and i spent a good amount of time working on this! this is my first actual album under this new name that doesn't include any tracks from my previous self.. this album dives into my mental state and how i feel most of the time + this album is the last project i'll release before i start my life as a "non-teen" experience in life.

after this releases, i'm gonna evolve into a new person, abandoning my past self and my mistakes to become a new and better version of myself.

「 Areliz Ramos is a Peruvian producer living in London, recognized for an evocative palette weaving lo-fi and downtempo threads into dreamlike, abstract emo narratives. 

While her debut ‘Frío’ (Where to Now?), orbited around homesickness and estrangement, ‘B-Side’ embraces imperfection, incorporating her guitar (named "Frank"), pedals, synthesizers, and her own vocal textures for the first time, privileging emotional immediacy over technical precision. 」
