The seventh adventure into Ethereality sees Jakhira take us back to the future with two delightful chunks of Cyberpunk. After working together with Bjorn Salvador, Fiordland, Richard McMaster and Kaio Batista on recent releases, we are very happy to get two more productions from his forthcoming album out into the world. The Future Eve is a dark tale that showcases a touch of diversity with its thunderous stabs, rumbling bassline and modulated melodies. Warm pads and slowly evolving strings accompany the astonishing stuttering synth lead as the climax drops into madness. Following up is Escaping Ubiquity with choirs, stabs and arpeggios aplenty. But what really grabs the attention is the stellar impression of a certain Greek god on a particularly legendary synthesizer, sounding like the theme tune of a sci-fi classic that never was.

BIO
I was born in The Second Greatest City in the world: New York City on a cold night. The only son of a Trinidad & Tobago Mother and a American Father. 

MUSIC
My musical journey started with the radio and with my fathers' collection of records, then I got the electronic music bug when listening to hip hop & soul music. Age three I discovered a track called Funk Dat! (original title: Fuk Dat!) by Sagat that made me say: ''What is this music?'' Fast forward to 1997 I was listening to mixshows on the radio ranging from the Epic & Deep sides of House, Trance and Techno because I was not of age to go to a club or bar. This trend (before social media) would continue until 2007. 

MAKING MUSIC
I wasn't interested in making music until my early adult years. I started with a DAW called Image Line FrootLoops until I transferred into a more advanced DAW, Sonar (now called cakewalk by BandLab). I did the slow and stagnant way from editing, mixing, effects, transitions to composing and arrangement. In total, I did 16 demo tracks for fun. It was also a therapeutic way to express myself after a day's work.
