Body Hack is a fundraising event for Black & Brown trans/queer individuals and organizations dedicated to uplifting us, this month specifically El Museo de Arte Trasnfemenino. located in the Doctores neighborhood of CDMX, El Museo de Arte Trasnfemenino is a storefront space that exists to exhibit and archive art by trans women, as well as provide space for the city's trans community to gather, with a particular emphasis on sex workers and others living on the margins. in a city that has no dedicated LGBT Center, a space like this is very rare, and valuable for everyone who can access it—particularly trans-femme artists who are largely shut out of other spaces to show and sell their work.

Catch it! We’re elated to debut our mix series with a fire mix from Orlando’s DJ GAY Z. Local legend at clubs like Southern Nights, the industry certified producer and performer has worked on Kelela’s latest project and played direct support for Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. In this mix, Cabias shares his sounds with us on the heels of a pop star year and his Asiatic debut in Japan.

Known for pushing the boundaries of club music, Wilhelmina fuses Jersey club, hard drum, gqom, techno with his Filipino heritage influences to create sounds that are as enchanting as they are energizing. From rumbling drums to hypnotic vocals, the mix celebrates innovation, community and the incredible evolution of East Coast club music. It’s music for the mind, body and soul.

Artist Bio
New Jersey Native,WILHELMINA,crafts a sultry, kinetic and percussion-forward take on east-coast club music.He pushes its boundaries by welding together the grooves and elements of jersey club,hard drum,gqom and techno with unique references to his Filipino heritage.
His sound is distinguished by rumbling drums,mysticism,disembodied vocals and the infectious energy of club music-enchanting both mind and body.
WILHELMINA’s original productions and remixes have resonated with others on a global scale: being played at various festivals,radios,clubs and underground events. He seeks to bridge gaps between genres and communities through his far-reaching sound.
