Hailing from NYC, Pinto’s early years saw him rise the ranks with his debut album on Nervous Records alongside releases on Material Series, Glasgow Underground, Refuge and Rawsome Recordings. With affiliations across such high profile labels, industry heads such as Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Riva Starr, Seinfeld, Demuir, Mark Knight, Todd Terry, Sidney Charles, Low Steppa showing him love in their sets, streams and radio shows leading to his invitation on Mark Knight’s Kiss FM Toolroom Radio Show. 

 

Fast forward to 2021 with the launch of his own imprint, Jack City Records. Pinto has seen his output garner his latest single ‘Dangerous’ peaking at #2 on Beatport’s Jackin’ Top 100. While maintaining the quality in the studio, his dj sets have seen invitations from regular slots in San Diego’s Bang Bang, New York’s Somewhere Nowhere and international shows in Mexico, Ecuador & Puerto Rico. The future looks bright.

Over the last few years his unstoppable rise has seen his music make its way into the sets of the biggest names in the business including Claude Von Stroke, Solardo, Todd Terry, Low Steppa and Jamie Jones, Carl Cox dropping his hit “One House’ at his closing party at the legendary Space, Eats Everything smashing his remix of Human Resource, ‘Dominator’ at Warehouse Project in Manchester, while Paco Osuna hammered it in nearly every set he played that summer, Monki premiering his first release ‘Bump Shake’ on his own label Shanghaied on Radio 1 and Black Madonna finishing 2018 for him in style by dropping his unreleased track ‘One Green Laser’ on her Radio 1 show and telling him she loves him – What more can any DJ want!

With such critical acclaim for his music the last couple of years have seen releases on Suara, Armada and a 3 track EP on Steve Lawlers VIVa, with 2019 set to be even bigger with his next release on London Records Believe music imprint, a stomping remix of the Stretch & Vern classic ‘I’m Alive’ and kicking off the years gigs opening the terrace for the biggest party promoters in the world; elrow at their original Barcelona home club alongside heavyweights Claptone and Fisher, with an incredible set that earned him the love of all at elrow and seriously high praise with a hug and a handshake from Juan Arnau Snr the father of the elrow family!

Matt Anderson grandit dans une famille aux goûts musicaux éclectiques, du rock, au hip-hop en passant par la culture de la French Touch du début des années 2000.

Matt se découvre un intérêt tout particulier pour la House Music à partir de 2008, après avoir entendu ''Leave the World Behind'' de la Swedish House Mafia pour la première fois. 

Développant sa culture musicale pendant son adolescence, il commencera à apprendre à mixer, le menant rapidement à jouer devant un public, qu'il s'agisse de soirées lycéennes comme des soirées entre amis. 

En parallèle, afin de démarquer, il apprend de ses héros Suédois et développe une capacité à produire des mashups et edits uniques pour ses sets.

Ceux-ci lui vaudront le soutien récurrent d'artistes tels que Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero ou encore Tiësto, dans des lieux renommés tels que l'Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, ou encore l'Amsterdam Dance Event.

En 2015, commence son aventure à la tête du groupe "ANDERVA", qu'il quitte en 2017, lui permettant de prendre une longue pause, à la recherche d'un genre musical lui correspondant plus.

Il reviendra en 2021, et lancera une série de mix aux sonorités house organiques et éthniques nommée "MEDITERRANEAN".

Malgré le revirement musical effectué, il obtiendra rapidement le soutien d'artistes tels que Vintage Culture, Diplo, Blond:ish ou encore Pablo Fierro.

En 2022, il se lance plus sérieusement dans la production de musiques originales, et formera avec son camarade Anël, le projet Burning Roses.

Début 2023, il sort son premier morceau original en solo nommé "Courage, My Soul" samplant "Clara (The Night is Dark)" de Fred again.. 

Il reviendra quelques mois plus tard avec ''Let Me Out'' une collaboration avec Anël sur son propre label ''MEDITERRANEAN Music''

En mai 2023, après de nombreuses années à jouer dans des évènements privés, il joue sa première date officielle, au O Chateau Festival à Marsillargues, où il ouvrira pour des artistes tels que Notre Dame, Baptiste Caffrey ou encore Soubeiran (Sunday Music)
