Krakota stands as a formidable force in drum and bass, captivating audiences with his signature blend of dancefloor energy and musical depth. Since 2023, he has been exclusively signed to Sleepless Music, the forward-thinking label founded by long-time friend and industry titan Wilkinson, who recognized Krakota's exceptional talent and helped elevate his distinctive sound to new heights.

2024 marked a pivotal moment in Krakota's career with his groundbreaking remixes for house music legend Armand Van Helden, showcasing his versatility and earning him recognition beyond the drum and bass scene. These remixes demonstrated his ability to respectfully reimagine classic dance music while maintaining his unmistakable production style, further expanding his audience and creative reach.

Throughout his career, Krakota has garnered substantial support from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers including Annie Mac, Adele Roberts, Danny Howard, and Rene LaVice. His productions regularly feature in sets from scene leaders like Andy C, Friction, and Sub Focus, cementing his reputation as a producer's producer.

Krakota's technical prowess in the studio translates seamlessly to his dynamic live performances. Drawing on his extensive musical knowledge and intuitive crowd-reading abilities, his DJ sets have become legendary for their journey-like quality and infectious energy. Etnik & Fuzz were given the chance to organise the monthly Bassline events halfway through 2007 and the Loaded events in 2010. They have been pushing the local drum & bass scene in Leuven eversince, inviting both international artists and upcoming talents from all over the country. Gaining more and more confidence from the crowds they played for bigger events in and outside Belgium came, giving these two dj's more fame everytime. After numerous of bookings the last 7 years, they have proven to know exactly what the crowd wants. Constantly refining their music choice and carefully searched after combo's make their sets a harmonic balance between pleasure and education.

One of the very first artists to sign to the fledgling Hospital label - way back at the turn of the millennium, Danny Byrd's own inimitable take on soulful, vocal Drum + Bass has become a staple in the scene. His use of hip hop, house and R&B influences immediately began turning heads with his first Hospital outings. The Bath based, brandy drinking producer has been responsible from some massive rave anthems over the years, which has gained him Radio One success and international recognition.

Having signed to the label in the early noughties, Danny Byrd released a number of singles, such as "Do It Again" (2000), "Changes" (2001) and "Dog Hill" (2006), However, it was not until 2008 that Danny delivered his long awaited debut long player "Supersized". Having spent years honing his craft, the album was an excellent display of his skills and featured massive anthems such as "Shock Out", "From Bath With Love" and "Red Mist (feat I-Kay)". The album gained support from Radio One heavy hitters such as Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, as well as the mighty Andy C. The VIP version of "Red Mist" catapulted its way onto the daytime Radio One playlist and received over six hours of Radio One play in 2009, all to itself!

Danny's next major release was an update of liquid rave classic "Sweet Harmony" (feat. Liquid). The hit single reached number one in the UK dance singles chart and took Danny's sound to a whole new audience. Championing a revival of classic dance music sounds along with his own unique and forward thinking production the second Danny Byrd studio album "Rave Digger" was unleashed October 2010. The lead single "Ill Behaviour feat I-Kay" smashed it's way into the UK top 40, swiftly followed up by Radio One play listings for "We Can Have It All" and "Tonight (feat. Netsky)".

Entering 2011, the “Rave Digger Special Edition” was released and later in the year, Danny launched his short-lived but impressive live show at Hospitality Brixton in September. Bursting back onto the scene in 2012 with the incendiary “Blaze The Fire (Rah!)”, Danny teamed up with the legendary General Levy for this smash hit single. The recent Radio 1 premiership of his latest double-sided single "4th Dimension // Bad Boy (Back Again)" with futuristic, 1995 dnb and jungle influences, gripped his loyal fans in anticipation for the release of his third artist album "Golden Ticket" which is due to drop at the end of May 2013. 

This year, the Byrd is definitely the word...
