Hailing from Leeds in the north of the UK, Balrog (Alex) is an artist whose style focuses on heavy rolling drums, driving bass lines, and distorted vocals. His tracks take influence from classic funky and groove focussed techno but with a fresh injection of modern industrial power. Focussing on this signature sound of industrial groove techno has seen him release on labels including Soma, Ear To Ground, Hydraulix, Crisis Of Man, Player, NAKT, Instruments Of Discipline, Moments In Time and Green Fetish.

The industrial groove sound also characterises Balrog’s high-energy DJ sets which have seen him headline events in cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Leeds, Manchester, Budapest, Glasgow, and more.

Balrog also runs his own record label, Khazad Records, which releases music from the very best industrial groove and hard techno talent around.

In addition to his Balrog alias, Alex also also plays and produces under, The Groovemeister General, focussing exclusively on moulding together deep, funky and grooving house and techno records.

In 2020, he started his movement with sound design and gradually moved on to performing at his own series of underground raves.
And by 22, he organized his first big urban rave dedicated to cyberpunk culture and electronic music PANDEMIC

His work was heavily influenced by the melodic trance of the 2000s. The groove and pressure of hard techno served as a powerful platform for creating a lot of music in this driving combination. His tracks and mixes successfully combine harshness, melancholy, cyberpunk atmosphere, inspiration and epicness

Rekkt (Valentin), is a passionate Hard Techno composer and sound engineer. A former drummer, he began his journey into electronic music in 2019, exploring Rawstyle and Hardcore. After releasing three singles on Gearbox Digital and Barbaric Records, he decided in September 2023 to shift his style towards Hard Techno.

A true sound design enthusiast, Rekkt excels in creating intricate atmospheres, rhythmic breakdowns, intense screeches, and captivating melodies. His sonic identity is defined by kicks influenced by Hardstyle, Gabber, and Hardcore, as well as sometimes the use of his own voice. With every new track, he pushes his creative boundaries, exploring new sounds to refine his unique style.

Rekkt quickly caught the attention of the international scene, with tracks played by renowned artists such as Trym, Holy Priest, I Hate Models, Clara Cuvé, Parfait, Vendex, 6EJOU, Charlie Sparks, Kozlov, Hysta and many more.
