PREMIERE: Jensen Interceptor x DeFeKT - Free Your Mind

Gladio Operations presents its sixth work, in which It returns to the format of various artists. In this third compilation tilted "The Analog Theory" we encounter various renowned producers from the electro scene in Europe.

This EP opens with the French producer Jauzas The Shining, with a fantastic track titled “Traveling Light” where we can hear his classic dark and hypnotic sound in all his productions.

Next up, we meet an old acquaintance of the label the Catalan producer Univac returns again showing off their forceful and aggressive rhythms, entering once again into more industrial territories.

Side B takes off with an exquisite cut by Lloyd Stellar tilted “Re-Entering Earth’s Atmosphere”. The Dutch artist who marks his debut in Gladio Operations, gifts us with an enveloping and very well molded track, with perfectly chosen melancholic harmonies.

German producer Martin Matiske who also debuts with Gladio Operations and has productions on prestigious labels such as Gigolo Records or Stilleben, is the chosen producer for the fourth track tilted “Telepathic Tuning”.

The EP closes with "Round Control" by the young and talented producer from Valencia, Uranio Empobrecido. This track is the most electronic on the EP and possesses the undeniable sound of Detroit, evident in each and every one of the sequences used.

Bari-based DJ/Producer Kaiser made his career debut on Etruria Beat back in 2013 with his track "Conversation", part of the Bud Sampler (Part 1). Today he presents his first full release for Etruria, "Medusa”. 

The two originals are lead by "Save the Chord", named after the presence of some overlapping dub-chords which intersect each other to create a melody on which a well balanced groove grows. Title track "Medusa" leads with an aggressive and imposing rhythm. Perfect for the most powerful of dancefloors! 

In addition, two remixes from highly respected artists of the European techno scene. DJ Emerson , Microfon Rec. owner and CLR artist, infects "Save the Chord" with his typical sound, coming up with a powerful kick and impetuous groove. Relentless. 

Finally Matthias Fridell supplies a dark-and-mean rework with scything organ pulses that deliver a Detroit touch.

Following up 2018 well received debut EP, the second release on Swedish based label Dub Katalog comes from producer 07:08. Included in the EP are two original tracks as well as two remixes from the very close label friends Ebrahimi and Late Lake.

07:08 sets you up to leave the cold winter and to welcome the warmer and kinder days of the year. Opening track “Open Up” is immersed in deep bass, lush atmospheres and chords associated with the spirit of spring. 

Following up the original, Ebrahimi delivers his deep funky interpretation of Open Up. The remix takes you out across Stockholms intimate bars in the southern parts of the city with its thumping bass and relentless percussions.

Late Lakes remix is a deep dive through the ocean with its beautiful melodic pads and percussive elements. The perfect gentle track for building those early floors or closing down in the early morning.

Closing the EP out, Distant Shores takes you on a journey of endless shores far away. With it’s dreamy piano chords, the track leaves you with the feeling of warm days to come.

0708 - Open Up (Original Mix)

It’s been a long time coming but NEX002 is finally here! A lot has happened since the first release; I graduated university, started a completely new career (in design), bought my first house with my girlfriend and finally got some space dedicated to making the artwork for this label. 

This album is worth the wait (I hope). The consistency of fourtimeszero music is something I rarely encounter. Every week he would be sending me a new track for this album and I was blown away every time. I’d like to thank fourtimeszero (Autor) for his patience in getting this together. 

The release is made by hand, by myself. Screenprinted, cut, creased and packaged. There are imperfections that come with these processes. In the ever-expanding digital world traces of human interaction with an object is a welcome change to the norm.
