Welcome to the 28TH release for PuzzleProjectsMusic, brought to us by the excellent British producers - Jacky Mal and Andy Buchan. 

Following the roaring success of his debut disco re-work ‘Love Will Let You Know’ – Label boss @BenSpaldingOfficial welcomes back rising British talent, Jacky Mal, for his second outing on PuzzleProjectsMusic. 

Real name Jack Mallon, he has lived in China and Kenya, inspiring his love of world music which feeds into his creative output. Meanwhile, prolific remixer Andy Buchan also embodies the global nature of electronic dance music with his deft touch and canny ability to weave together compelling and wonderfully engaging productions. 

The title cut utilises a rousing vocal to envelop the listener in soulful energy. The beats pumps, with Jack injecting a vintage rave feel to tantalise the listener. Throughout, the energy is positive and uplifting, crisp hats and heavyweight kicks fuelling the track’s momentum. Two distinct breakdowns add pivotal moments of energetic expression, the vocal maintaining its alluring presence until the end.

On the flip, Andy Buchan steps up to rework Jacky’s original. With a firm focus on the percussion, Andy beefs up the rhythm section, utilising an oh-so-funky bassline to further bolster the track’s dense and funk-fuelled aesthetic. He threads in the original vocal with finesse, sitting perfectly next to the instrumental. As the track progresses, he introduces infectious piano keys which provide a classic sheen, transporting the listener in style!

The two Leeds, UK-based artists have crafted highly distinct but perfectly matched versions, both aimed directly at the dance floor.
