Over two strong decades in the broadcast media industry and always grateful for the learning journey, exposure, and experience from different cities and countries around the world where he was previously posted. He's currently based and enjoys life in sunny Singapore. Mario has also presented programmes for radio stations YES FM (Colombo, Sri Lanka), Channel4FM (Dubai, UAE), Radio 91.3 & Power98FM (Singapore), 102.7 Star  & 101.1 FM (Manila, Philippines).  He's protools savvy, and work ready for any creative audio collaboration and assignment.  
As a professional V.O. talent/Radio Deejay/Creative Producer, his radio shows, v.o. work and other creative post production work were heard at stations like Radio91.3FM Power98FM (Singapore) Channel4FM (Dubai, UAE), YES FM (Colombo, Sri Lanka), WSM/STAR FM (Manila, Philippines), 702DZAS AM (Metro Manila, Philippines), and Singapore's Media Corp t.v. and radio stations.  He became a full-time Radio Deejay in the 90's and continued this career in Singapore until late 2011. He also hosted Inflight produced shows for Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Air China, & Philippine Airlines.

Mario has hosted both informal and corporate gatherings and events from his various posts in Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dubai (UAE), Manila (Philippines) and Singapore.

As a Musician:
At 15, Mario started recording, translating and writing songs professionally. He composed songs for artists from Universal Records/PolyEast, Octo-EMI, Alpha, & STAR Philippines, as well as EQ Music Singapore. His voice was also heard on various music albums and projects under PAPURI! - Far East Broadcasting Company's music arm in the Philippines. Under its mentorship programme for young performers, Mario progressed to various platforms and genres.  Mario's composition for the "Celebrate Christmas in Singapore 2012 Songwriting Contest" titled "You're The Greatest Gift" was proclaimed as the winning song for the event. Mario’s debut album was released and distributed in Singapore in 2004. It was a double disc project that include both vocals and accompaniment tracks from the album.  Besides his own compositions, other songwriters for the album were Corrine May(L.A./Singapore), Gary Valenciano(Manila), Leonard Tan (Singapore), & Nightsound (Singapore). The self-titled album was featured on published articles by Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Female, Zao Bao, Lime, The Straits Times, & The New Paper.   
As an Educator: 
Mario conducts lectures and tutorials on modules such as Radio & TV Production, Professional Preparation, Professional Communication, Social Media, Feature Writing, General Education (Critical Analysis), Communicating for Personal & Team Effectiveness, as well as SIP/OSIP (Social & Overseas Innovation Project).  
*Radio Journalism Lecturer at Curtin University, Singapore. 
*Former Radio Lecturer at the School of Film & Media Studies @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. 
*He formerly supervised SPace Radio which is under the school of Communication, Arts & Social Sciences and its diploma in media & communication.  
*He was Radio Heatwave's supervisor Mario propelled its media connection and social media network when he managed it and took clearer focus as an English-youth station with a Hit Radio format.
