In an attempt to overcome the unstable, changing, and accidental elements of phenomena, metaphysics focuses its attention on what it considers eternal, stable, necessary, and absolute, in order to try to grasp the fundamental structures of being.

Methaphysical Unit is a new project resulting from the collaboration of Valentin Ginies and Eugenio Petrarca in art Acratep.

As Metaphysics explores reality according to the widest possible perspective in the same way this project was created to merge all the many aspects of sound from the most etheric to the most concrete.
The fusion of obsessive and deep rhythms of drum machines combined with the abrasive sounds of modular sequences create a unique sound atmosphere.

TAZ may be one of the most underrated DJs around Leipzig, collecting and mixing records since the early 90s (true story). He´s co-founder of Connwax releasing quality techno for the under- and overground without compromises. With three decks, he is mixing the records from the depths of his next level record collection which weighs nearly three tons causing him real troubles while living in a way too small flat.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background @vanta_techno has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig with its well known Institut für Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of @kollektiv-pvc he is also co-organizing raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world of producing. Releasing on Labels like Crescent London, Further Sessions, Proselytizing or Charybdis he is establishing himself in the scene always seeking to refine his sound. Now we gladly welcome Vanta for another huge episode of ritual practices full of pure energy and drive. What a ride!
