Damion ‘Damo’ Houchen, aka Genix, presents new remixes of ‘Numb’ (with LYCA), the lead single from his debut artist album ‘199X’.

This latest remix package features two chill out mixes of ‘Numb’ from Damo, as well as a remix from Anjunabeats newcomer Bexxie. 

Rebecca Clements, aka Bexxie, has been producing and DJing since the 1990s. Influenced by modern techno, early 90’s hardcore and tech house, her music has been supported by David Guetta, Mark Knight, Sam Feldt and Jax Jones. She debuted on Anjunabeats in December 2021 with ‘In Your Hands’, and supported Above & Beyond at Big Night Live, Boston.

Since the album’s release in September 2021, Genix has taken ‘199X’ to Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 450 celebrations at The Drumsheds London, and to the USA and UK for the first leg of his world tour.

Ukrainian Cuprite debuts on Timeless Moment with the amazing We Are The Light EP.

“We Are the Light” is a progressive tunes that remembered us of many of the prog classics from the late 00s . Cuprite brings lots of old school elements and synths such as arps and stabs together with a strong bass line groove. The vocal feels especially reminiscent of the golden rave era.

On the Remix duties, label boss Morttagua brings a powerful melodic techno remix, with a lot of drive on its rolling bass lines, lots of atmospheres and new harmonies. Extra synths and melodies are the cherry at the top in its breakdown, making a huge emotional impact with its introspective feeling.

Finishing this EP we have another dance floor number from Cuprite in Gypsum. A hypnotic moog like synth works together with a mesmerizing dance floor groove to make this a total timeless weapon.

In the mid-90s, the club scene around Berlin became his second home. E-Werk, Tresor and the Isle of Youth with their driving rhythms, darkness and heat are formative for his style during this time. The sets of the Berliner, a hypnotic mixture of driving beats and melodic elements with rough edges, regularly make the audience sweat. In collaboration with Hannes Bieger, whose mixing adds a warm touch to the sound, R.EK is again pushing boundaries, and explores new grounds, where subtle, harmonious synthies and an enormous love for detail are paired to enable a new, distinct sound.

About KNOTEN
Under the umbrella of KNOTEN, R.EK is currently developing a new live performance concept that attempts to reinvent the communication between the artist and the audience by adding innovative visuals to the show. The new track will be released under KnotenMusic, which was launched as part of the KNOTEN project.
