Music, the thread since ever and always in his life…
Experimenting with his parents’ vinyl’s at the age of 14, learning all different etnical music styles, mixing and scratching until they got crazy.
This is how the passionate love story began, the magical journey with the eclectical music virus.
The young “Gizzi" 18 years at the moment, got his introduction in the world of house music thanks to some friends, Trance house, Techno, Tech house, Latino house, Balearic House….. The passion for this type of music got really fed by a first club visit @ Café d’Anvers.
He was sure of one thing, his passion for music has to be shared worldwide, beyond borders. 
House music in heart en soul, but every now and then he feels the urge to mix and scratch this house music with urban grooves, disco fevers, reggae tunes and some golden oldies….
Founder of AUDIOBOULEVARD, he started up this brand with the idea of a boulevard with different Dj’s in different styles… They started up with 8 DJ’s
Co founder of WONDERBOS, another concept , the idea of bringing the outside dream inside….
Teaching kids  how to use the turntables, because sharing love and passion true music is what it’s all about. 
After 15 years of club experience ( almost all venue’s of Belgium) and festival Dj ( Tomorrowland, Burning man, African burn, Barefoot, Unicorn,  and many more)

The story of Gigi Ibicenco is probably one of the most unusual in the world of electronic music.

Having grown up in a tough neighborhood in the region of Paris , its willingness to carry out will lead him in environments in total opposition to what his social condition destined him.

When he was only 11 years old , his brother, supposed to keep it in their holiday resort , decided to take her to one of the most famous Alicante (Spain) Club.

This will trigger element , therefore Gigi Ibicenco , fall in love with the world of the night and is brought to be with the greatest DJ (Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Cut Killer) in most renowned places ( Pacha , Amnesia , Vip room , L'Arc club, the queen , the rex ) , but also all performers in this microcosm are gogo dancer , bartender , bosses etc… which contribute greatly to the decadent atmosphere of these nightss .

He completed his musical culture until becoming a selector techno, minimal or Deep house and became a DJ in 2011 on the advice of his friends already well established in this area.

After spinning in places like the Hotel Pacha Ibiza, Sands Ibiza, Orso Ibiza, El Ayoun Ibiza, The Winter conference Miami, the 4th element Paris, Rouge Pigalle Paris, Pigaillon Paris, First Cntr Latvia Riga, Dr Who Lituania Klaipeda, Cube Brighton, La Rocca Belgium, Noxx Belgium, Solar Weekend Festival Netherland, Haven Miami..., Gigi ibicenco now aims to move up to spread its culture: the Ibiza of teckhouse, deep house , the greatest amount of people and expects to surf the success of his last parties which leave no one indifferent.

DJ Dysfunkshunal is without a doubt one of the greatest turntablists Belgium has ever known. His unique style of blending old & new school Hip-Hop, R&B, Trap, Twerk, Dancehall, Reggae, Soul & Funk while incorporating his outstanding turntablist skills is what distinguishes him from most other DJ‟s.
As a member of the Killa Tactics crew he travelled across the globe, entering DJ competitions in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, London & Amsterdam. DJ Dysfunkshunal managed to win the Belgian ITF & DMC battle 5 times, holds the ITF Benelux 2000 Champ title and owns 2 vice-worldchampion titles: needless to say that he paid his dues in the international DJ battle scene.
Nowadays, you can find him at the biggest events & festivals such as Fire Is Gold, Lokerse Feesten, Laundry Day, Urbanice (Sportpaleis), Club MTV, TMF Stressfactor and at clubs like Bloody Louis, Mirano, Versuz, Ancienne Belgique, Het Depot & Trix. He allready provided support acts for international superstars like Nas, DMX, Eve, Raekwon (Wu Tang), Lil' Wayne, De La Soul, Rahzel [The Roots], The Furious Five, Public Enemy, Xzibit, Guru [Gangstarr], Grandmaster Flash, Capone-n-Noreaga, GZA/Genius [Wu-Tang Clan], Method Man & Redman, Soprano, Kery James, Sexion D’Assaut, Immortal Technique, Kid Ink & many others.
Besides rocking clubs & parties, DJ Dysfunkshunal currently tours with different artists as their backing DJ. He performs on the regular in different countries with US artist Chip-Fu (Fu-Schickens, New York) & Belgium based artists Akro (Starflam), Safi (Eigen Makelij) & Darrell Cole (Empire). Working with all these different artists led to one of the biggest achievements in his career. In 2017 he was the official european tour DJ of Hip-Hop legend KRS-One, rocking shows in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Paris, Berlin, Gotheborg & even Dysfunkshunal’s hometown, Leuven.
DJ Dysfunkshunal’s talent didn’t stay unnoticed by the local media, which led to several appearances on national TV shows such as “Cool Sweat” (TMF) / “Facts” (TMF) / “411” (JIM) / “Going Out” (JIM) / “Het Journaal” (EEN) / “Studio Ket” (Canvas) / “Villa Vanthilt” (EEN), “Fetes De La Musique concert” (RTBF La Deux) / “MNM Start To DJ” (OP12) / “The Big Live” (JIM) / "DJ Maniacs" (JIM).
His mixing skills were also noticed by promotors in other countries and continents. This led to performances in New York City, Capetown & Oudtshoorn (South Africa), China, Japan, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switserland, Kosovo & Croatia.
Like many other DJ’s, Dysfunkshunal also made the logical transition from DJ to music producer. The video for the track “Coupe Le Verbe En Deux” featuring Akro & Leki reached over 200 000 streams, and was in high rotation on TMF, JimTV & MCM. He also produced & laced scratches for artists like Chip-Fu (USA), Jesse Al Malik (Furious 5, USA), Agallah Don Bishop (Dipset, USA), Bokoesam (NL), Sem Phi & Mel Ross (BE), Juz Kiddin (BE), Bringhim Backalive (BE), Kleine Ben & King B (BE) & many more.
After more than 20 years in the game, DJ Dysfunkshunal is still hungry for more. For the years to come he’ll definitely be a major player in the multiple aspects of the hip-hop game... The champ is here... to stay
