A nice epic piece on par with Godless Abomination, if not its superior. It takes about a minute and a half to really get crackin', but I think the buildup is worth it. The song is 60 bpm, just like an everyday clock ticking and the one in the background. I took the actual notes from the on-the-hour chime of a grandfather clock, put it in the minor key, and added a major 7th underneath for that first chimes bit. The ending is a fade-out like video game soundtracks have traditionally been, primarily because that's most of what I write for anyways.

I'm not really sure what my intentions with this piece were, but I love how it turned out. I was listening to the OST for American McGee's Alice, and I just got all inspired one day and started work.
