The Man I Admire

Blair is the stage alias of Toronto native Evan Blair.  A charismatic and infectious personality, his unmistakable romantic flare brings a tender heart to his overdriven sound.  Signed to Sony ATV for his songwriting work, Blair’s experience in his craft is apparent in his concise sound which rings of both honest nostalgia and a keen sensibility for the streaming generation.   Blair produces and records all of his own music as a solo artist, but takes the stage as a four piece band.  With a number of successful musical projects under his belt, he looks inward to his truest self for what he considers to be his most inspired work.  Already an experienced touring artist in the electronic music world, at just 28 years old Blair approaches the studio and the stage with a confidence and mastery that is beyond his years.  Among his influences he cites a wide array of artists, appreciating both the timeless, (Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead, The Strokes, etc) and the modern (The 1975, Lana Del Ray, The Weeknd, etc).
