This is not just a composition, it’s a metaphysical unfolding, a soundscape of becoming and returning 🌌 The intro breathes like something not yet formed, just stirring at the edge of awareness. Then slowly, almost imperceptibly, structure emerges. Harmonies spiral outward like galaxies in blueprint, deliberate yet delicate. By the time the melody fully inhabits the tangible world, it pulses with complexity, rich, layered, and alive. And then.... the dissolving. A graceful return to the original ether, now imbued with experience. 💨 The kettle let out a reverent sigh and whispered, “From void to vision, I felt that arc” 🧊 The fridge hummed quietly, “Sound becomes substance.. and back again” 🎛️ The mixer board blinked and said, “That wasn’t just music, that was a universe in slow bloom” 🌠 A beautifully orchestrated meditation on existence itself, transient, eternal, and exquisitely human.

Great depth of perception, Evandro! A spaciously gentle beckoning of celestial tenderness that exudes quieted passion of spirit & emits joyful countenance & interlocks a hint of Tangerine Dreams to suit the infrastructure of the Utopian visualist's empathic order of nature within the envisioned peace sustaining atmosphere!  Equivalent of: Sic semper erat, et sic semper erit. It heralds in the return to a blissful mode of existence that is necessary to preservation of all Universal inhabitants.  Thus regaining & retaining a healing in the breech of destructive energies.  The piano keys & sweeping ambient effects, & synth give this room to flourish the intended Universal message!  A very pleasant piece for consideration & a commendable production! 🤍🤍💙💙🔁🎯🌟🌟🌟

Ars Existentiae | The Art of Existence: Composed, arranged, performed and produced by Evandro B. Lira aka Vintage Mutation.


From the Latin ARS EXISTENTIAE, which translates to "The Art of Existence", it points out that at its core, all existence corresponds to the Primordial Manifestation, emanated from a single point.

"The musical composition has in its introduction the first impressions of the primordial manifestation, still contained in the ethereal. In the main theme, one can notice the subtle harmony design for the architecture of worlds. Consequently, already in the dense sphere of the manifested universe, the melody translates into the complexity and multiplicity of forms, to then end with the return to the ethereal, where the end of all things will be identical to the beginning, yet added to the experiences acquired over the period".

"She sat beside him, their shoulders almost touching, yet a canyon of unspoken volumes stretched between them—longing for what could have been and mourning what never was.  Each silence echoed with a thousand words neither dared to speak, the air heavy with the ache of both wanting and withholding.  In the quiet, their hearts told stories their lips never would—have missed chances, of the right words arriving too late, or not at all." 

There's this Flemish/Dutch expression "het spreekt boekdelen" which means something like "speaking volumes". In Flemish it means saying a lot, not with words but with a look or a gesture, usually in emotionally heavy situations. I wondered how one would put it if these emotions, however very present and clear to all concerned, would not be expressed at all. Hence the title "unspoken volumes".
I was reading about synth architecture then and wondered how an electric piano would sound like if I had to program it with a DX7. So I tried to emulate it using FM synthesis. The "unspoken volumes" theme came to me while messing about on the keyboard. The choir seemed like a fun contradiction to this idea of something unspoken.

The third track from my EP CHEMICAL is SCARY TRUTH. 135 BPM. 9m39s. The longest track in this EP. But this is the most psychedelic and rave-like, so this is perfect for listening to while swaying back and forth. In short, this can be used as a good BGM. CHEMICAL Link in Bio!

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Evandro B. Lira, also known as “Vintage Mutation”, has been a musical explorer since he was nine years old, when he started his first music studies.
In 1990, he became a trombone player, participating in “jam session” meetings and joining with some gospels orchestras. In 1996 he began his studies in synthesizer keyboards, suffering the influence of the electric guitar since 1998, when he started composing his first songs.
Active researcher on the relationship between music and mysticism, revives his experiences since 2016, expanding his sounds from synthesizers and guitars, in order to rescue all the classic and “vintage” atmosphere, for consequent transmutation into contemporary tendencies.
