No expectations allowed in this world? Thats what we learn, thats what they tell us, but at the same time they all have expectations on us.  We re in the middle of this spiral of thousands of expectations. Be this, be that, do this, do that. At the end, we learn we have to do what makes us happy (what is happynes again?) Something that gives us more than a little satisfactory kick for a few seconds, something that is not fully connected to the gaze of the public. Something we understand as intimate and part of ourself. Well, this is what we have here, a mix made by Alberto aka Aheadacheaday. Thanks so much for this beauty of a mix. I had no expectations, but the ones i had where over surpassed.

Danse sur écoute

Raconter une danse, donner la parole à celles et ceux qui l'interprètent : deux enjeux au cœur de Danse sur écoute, un podcast créé par Clémence Galliard et Juliette Médevielle.

Ce projet de création radiophonique allie l'audiodescription d'un solo de danse et l'interview de son interprète. Une création pour partie factuelle, gestuelle et informative car la description de la performance est prétexte à des digressions sur la pièce dansée et son interprète, mais également empreinte de poésie, car elle s'appuie sur la captation sonore ambiante. Le tout s'accompagne d'un entretien mené par Clémence, dans lequel le danseur ou la danseuse évoque de manière plus approfondie son parcours.

Danse sur écoute tend une oreille sur la danse et rend hommage à ses ouvriers: les interprètes.

Ce podcast a été réalisé avec la collaboration d'Hélène Giannecchini, Virginie Yassef, les étudiantes et étudiants de l'EESI de Poitiers, Sophie Demeyer, Anja Rottgerkamp et Antoine Dupuy-Larbre, avec l'aimable autorisation de Gisèle Vienne.

Ce projet pédagogique a été rendu possible grâce au soutien de la région Ile de france.

Durand - Estramonio [LATIDO]

Host of Granada-based Mordisco Club parties, where the likes of Jennifer Cardini, Red Axes, Curses, Sascha Funke, Fort Romeau, John Talabot, Zombies in Miami or Marvin & Guy- to name a few - have graced the decks, and half of the Spanish DJ and producer duo Mordisco, kicks off his own label LATIDO. Imprint of different sounds and genres ranging from disco and techno to post-punk and everything in between. Synth, trance melodies and cosmic chords with psychedelic vibes and vibrant drums. New Wave with flashes of 80's EBM, Electro and New Beat. In sum, a sound where both synths and guitars feel at home on 4/4 beats.

The second release of LATIDO will be out next March 5 and joins together a slew of new forces showcase their production flairs in a four tracks original compilation. One of those tracks is run by the South of Spain based Durand, artist connected to electronic music from a very young age, developing an extensive career as a dj and club promoter and owner before starting to produce his own music only a couple of years ago. In this time he has already released excellent eps on Factor City, Nein Records, and one on Esthetique, played by the likes of The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe or Curses. For his debut on Latido he delivers "Estramonio", a 6 minute-long winding synth excursion with powerful modulating basslines and infectious rhythms specially designed for a cosmic party.
