This past visit to the Black Rock Desert in 2023, my wonderful friends at the Groundswell camp invited me to come play a guest set on the Kuker art car. As anybody who knows me can tell you, DJing on art cars and DJing at DeMentha are my two very favourite things to do at TTITD, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity. This was the set I played that Tuesday night in the deep playa. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Hope you enjoy!

Huge thanks to the Groundswell crew for inviting me, especially Esteban and Maggie who orchestrated it, Suave who was crucial in connecting the dots, and Juanito who kept the monster moving! And big shoutouts to the other DJs that night who all played some incredible tunes!

A little back2back session by exiled Austrian technoteer Patrick Testor and his Frankfurt (Hanau) based partime partner in crime C-Rock. The two have produced and released a hand full of cool house and techno tunes over the years making house heads happy for more than a decade. Feel the energy between these two and imagine this mix on a sunny sunday afternoon in Berlin when you are still not 100% detoxed from the night before 😘

DISTRIKT was my very first DJ gig at Burning Man 10 years ago and it felt so good to be back. This year’s set up was insanely amazing! The perfect layout and so many happy and beautiful people.  I'm so happy to have shared that experience with my brother Holmar and to be able to play a longer set to close DISTRIKT on opening day was just what we needed.

▶ eveava's sound embodies her adventurous spirit. Her fresh approach to crafting her sets involves unearthing songs from older eras and artfully blending them with more contemporary or futuristic sounds. Whether it's dropping a bolero from the 30’s before an Aphex Twin track and then following it up with an amapiano gem, or a rare Bowie acapella sample, eveava's eclectic selection is an open relationship between the past and future, the groovy and edgy, the organic and the machinelike.

eveava's versatility has earned her performances alongside a diverse range of artists, including  DJ Tennis, Whitesquare, Perel, Axel Boman, Floating Points, Nicola Cruz, and Pantha du Prince.

In addition to her dynamic DJ sets, eveava's productions are equally exciting. She infuses rich percussion, spoken word samples, soulful grooves, and arpeggiated leads, resulting in a fresh sound. 

Both in the studio and on the stage, eveava consistently pushes boundaries with a sound that is deeply personal and highly danceable. Her unique style strikes the perfect balance between introspection and celebration, connecting with listeners on both intellectual and visceral levels.

eveava was born in Medellin, Colombia and is currently based in Berlin, where she is pursuing her master's degree in Visual & Experience Design while finishing work on her debut EP.
