The Black Light Disco Show bell was ringing loudly again as it returned to the myhouseradio.fm airwaves for another 2 hours of heavenly sonic vibes. 

This week, it’s the turn of our residents Goz and Esteban to open up the dressing up box here in BLD Towers and put some fancy duds on befitting for the show ahead. 

First up is Spin City Head Honcho and BLD stalwart, Goz who will be navigating the first hour with the wind in his sails and cutlass in between his teeth. Expect gems from Eddie C, Les Inferno, Paul Older and Hotmood to be pulled out of the swag bag. 

For the second hour, Esteban takes the helm with a fine selection of sea shanties including tracks from I Gemin, Tech Support, Corrado Alunni, Vyktor Nova, Brothers In Arts and Sammy Deuce to name but a few.

Evil Smarty is known for a string of respected productions and has released chart topping releases on a variety of labels including Midnight Riot, Disco Fruit, Masterworks Music and Wall of Fame. With worldwide support from tastemakers and DJ’s including the likes of David Morales, Greg Wilson and Late Nite Tuff Guy his dancefloor friendly tracks always hit the mark.

As a resident for Shade Disco, Evil Smarty has supported The Shapeshifters, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Dr Packer, Michael Gray, Hifi Sean and many more, show-casing his versatility and talent to keep hands in the air and bodies moving until the early hours. 

Along with Paul Groves, Evil Smarty is part of DJ duo and Club night Project Bango. What started out as a bit of fun and a desire to showcase some great music, rapidly morphed into an instant hit in their hometown of Guildford at late night venue “The Alley Bar”. The North Wales Disco duo Pookie Knights have been lowering the lap bars and sending crowds into delirium with roller coaster disco sets over the past 10 years. Hailing from Wrexham, North Wales the pair started off with a friendly competitive spirit searching for obscure disco vinyl singles and blending them into mordern dance floor bangers.
These boys pride themselves on fast-paced sets that start high and don’t stop until they reach orbit. Influenced by genres such as Soulful House, Acid and Italio, they really do provide the full package. With more drops than Captain Hook playing catch, one thing you can guarantee is a good time!
Recently, the lads have been lucky enough to enjoy shows across the UK and Europe. With a steady stream of releases hitting the likes of Traxsource and Juno Download. Be sure to keep your eye out for the PK world domination, coming soon!
