After a three week break, it's myself Pete Ellison back on the decks. My special guest this week is Kute Jurgens from Berlin, a talented DJ, Producer and musician who has been spinning beats since discovering funk and soul in his youth. He started his own music studio called Phinemusic back in 2005, and collaborates with a lot of other musicians and vocalists on this music. 

His latest project "Phunque" is set to take music lovers on a groove-filled journey back to the early 80s. Drawing inspiration from the dazzling funk groups of that era, Phunque aims to revive the infectious spirit and energy of that time while infusing it with a fresh and contemporary twist.

And among all this a track of the famous north american jazz artist Stanley Turrentine masterfully reinterpreted by The Reflex.
