Funkier Session #023 - DJ Smallfry [Discojam]

Marga López-Palomino, conocida como DJ Pupilas, inició su camino musical en Madrid, donde empezó a pinchar en locales icónicos como La Vía Láctea o King Creole. Su trayectoria la llevó a gestionar durante siete años la sala Ya’sta, referente de la escena electrónica madrileña, y a formar parte del grupo punk Micromachines. Con el nacimiento de DJ Pupilas, ha recorrido escenarios nacionales e internacionales pinchando soul, funk, disco, house y otros ritmos bailables, colaborando con artistas como Joseph Malik. Ha actuado en festivales como Tsunami, Salinas Longboard, Viña Rock, Festimad y como jurado del Benidorm Fest 2024. Además, ha participado en la organización de raves y eventos como Decibelio o el chill-out más concurrido de España. Viña Rock. Su trayectoria artística también incluye teatro, cine y modelaje, colaborando con fotógrafos como Miguel Trillo y Alberto García-Alix.

London-based DJ, producer and radio host Even Funkier weaves together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.

As a DJ he’s taken his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets to locations including Glastonbury, ADE and Westival, playing parties for Midnight Riot, Good Custard, Project Bango, Pineapple Police Horse and DiscNoTheque. And as a producer he’s released on over 20 labels labels including Tropical Disco, Hot Digits, Mango Sounds, The Disco Express, Midnight Riot and TheBasement Discos.
