The latest Funkier Sessionis a good one - a 96 minute beast of a mix from a UK-based DJ and producer called NTRIK. I loooove this mix - there’s loads going on but it flows really well… starting off on a lovely boogie tip but building to something chunkier with original and remixed disco, some house and varied funky vibes. A few classics and some new discoveries in there too. It’s a really nice one, and you’d do well to give it a listen to see what I mean! Sean’s journey as a DJ began in the late ‘90s when, at just fifteen, he landed his first major residency at Zeus Nightclub in Essex, UK. In February 1999, he secured a weekly slot at their under-18s event, holding the position for an impressive six years, laying the foundation for a dynamic career. A highly respected DJ, Sean has since worked with prestigious brands such as @hedkandi , Fierce Angel, @discnotheque , Love Sensation and Rulin - @ministryofsound.

His releases have made a significant impact on @traxsource , earning DJ support from industry legends like @davelee.jn , @djmeme , @john_morales_mix , @dr_packer , and @purple_disco_machine , among others. Sean is known for his dedication to producing authentic, high-quality Disco and House music, with a passion for creating vibrant sounds through real musicians, live strings, brass, bass, and percussion, delivering a truly immersive musical experience.

Co-host and resident @wahinedj returned on 3.8.25 welcoming friend and fellow Disco Walton, Jay-Kay @houseofjaykay to Spin City for the first time. The German DJ and event producer out of Duisburg, Germany only started DJing in 2022, but has been a life-long clubber and vinyl collector, so she already had a DJ's ear before she finally decided to get on the decks a few years ago. She produces an event called Women for Women and is the co-host of The Couple Show on NDC Radio alongside husband and fellow DJ and Disco Walton, DJ BK.
