Hip-Hop Don't Stop

The latest Funkier Sessionis a good one - a 96 minute beast of a mix from a UK-based DJ and producer called NTRIK. I loooove this mix - there’s loads going on but it flows really well… starting off on a lovely boogie tip but building to something chunkier with original and remixed disco, some house and varied funky vibes. A few classics and some new discoveries in there too. It’s a really nice one, and you’d do well to give it a listen to see what I mean! I realised last week that it's 10 years since I started DJing and producing under the Leftside Wobble moniker and it also so happened that one of the inspirations for getting back into music 10 years ago was celebrating his 50th this weekend. So a revival of the Dub Disco Deli mix series seemed apt for the occasion as that was always the series of mixes that stayed most true to the LW unbounded by genres ethos. Really enjoyed putting this one together, hope you dig it too. x
