Black Light Disco hoisted the sails, spliced the mainbrace and cleaned the poopdeck ready for another voyage on the myhousradio.fm seas last Monday - setting a course to navigate those Monday blues.  

This week our steadfast residents Pookie Knights were in situ deep within BLD Towers, priming the stereophonic drivers and bass bins for their first hour which will be sure to get you dancing in your living quarters- be that your kitchens, bathrooms, studies or rumpus rooms. 

For the second hour we welcomed another duo with oodles of class and musical bones - Uptown Funk! 

Uptown funk is a DJ/Producer duo consisting of DJs Sam Hall & Poco. They formed this deadly duo in late 2018 and since then have seen their live shows grow exponentially to the stage at which they now host not one but two residencies in their hometown of Huddersfield in the North of England. 

Uptown Funk’s productions have also been gaining lots of attention after having releases on prestigious labels such as tropical disco records, Super Spicy records, Rare Wiri along with their first vinyl release this July on Daje Funk. With plenty more releases scheduled and live shows coming thick and fast all over the UK, uptown funk are an outfit to take note of!

Take it from us - these two lads are the real deal and we know they’re going to make a lasting impression on both sides of the Atlantic and we’re so delighted to be able to showcase their considerable talents on the world’s #1 house music station, @myhouseradio.fm!
