More free 80s goodness brought up to date for you - this time I’ve taken a track by the Whispers called Imagination and applied the Funkier treatment. Title track of their 10th album, it's an absolute banger that's been a weapon in my crate for years and felt ripe for a bit of beefing up. It’s already a great tune that exudes early 80s boogie funk niceness so I haven’t done loads to it, just the usual crisping up of percussion and making it throb along nicely. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.

As a DJ he’s taken his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets to locations including Glastonbury, ADE and Westival, playing parties for Midnight Riot, Good Custard, Project Bango, Pineapple Police Horse and DiscNoTheque.
