Released in 1968, Open My Eyes by Nazz is a prominent example of tape flanging. The song was a major inspiration to a couple of young men who, in 1971, went on to found Eventide and create the world’s first pro audio effects box, the Instant Phaser. This version of the song features the new Instant Phaser Mk II and Instant Flanger Mk II plug-ins available for AAX, VST and AU.

Eventide Audio created this contest: They covered Nazz - OpenYour Eyes written by Todd Rundgren. "Remix this in any way, creative or traditional, but use at least the Instant Flanger or Instant Phaser." I used both.
I choose the traditional way; to create a 'perfect' mix.

[UPDATE]: The jury choose my mix as the best 'traditional'-version.
I'm so happy ;-)

Some details;
- claps moved 30 msec back in time (claps fx not)
- most tracks highpass filtered
- no conga's used (cluttered the mix)
- some volume/effect automation
- de-essing a bit (highs in the mix became a little too much)
