Some funky-dancy old school soul-inspired stuff... will sound better with keys and vocals. 

As always, Very rough sketchpad demo, recorded mono using Voice Memo on an iPhone 4. Work in progress. Recorded at low levels, brushes not sticks on drums, snare off. Cleaned up a bit and rendered in stereo using Audacity.

"Beer Gynt"

Quirky tune... like most of our stuff. This was an early collaborative write, our second I think, though this is a recent take, another of our early tunes we don't often rehearse. Hopefully one of the last uploads as a trio (have a keyboard player coming on board...)

We wanted this to have an "airy" vibe to start, then twist it into the weird, then throw a somewhat grunge-type chord progression into the mix. The title is a nod to both Henrik Ibsen's play and Edvard Grieg's piece, "Morning" ...and beer. I still like this tune, I think I'll like it better with keys on it.
