How Long

One of our first sketchpad recordings, the tune was fresh (same day it was written, recorded mostly so we would be able to remember the changes. I think this was our 4th tune we wrote. Recorded mono at a low volume using Voice Memo on an iPhone 4 (brushes - drumming,, cleaned it up a bit using Audacity. Lyrics to come.

Love Evermore

"'Cause I Like It Like That"

Same as previous track, added a slight return after the outro-ending, it's just the main groove of the verse ...backwards using an Audacity "reverse" plug in, 'cause it sounded kinda' cool, and I like it like that...


A '70s hard rock vibe, a little bit of R & R aggressive power trio-city...  Fun tune, written in the '90s, never played until now (though this is one of the earliest songs I brought to the band, we don't often rehearse it ~ R). There are lyrics, 'cause I like it like that.

'Cause I Like It Like That

This was our first collaborative write from last summer, another song that doesn't get a lot of rehearsal time, somewhat more developed than the other take, which was recorded about 10-20 minutes after it was written.

In Limbo Akimbo

"Lost Carousel"

This one is still in early stages of development, there are some melodies to be played with the opening chords that were left out to simplify things so we could get the basic structure down. The song opens in 7/8 and switches to 4/4 then back to 7/8, ...a few times. You can tell how quiet we record, just before the 3 minute mark, I clear my throat. Another collaborative effort that started by some up tempo jamming over Chris Squire's "The Fish" off of the album Fragile by Yes. We didn't leave that part in.

Surgery in 2017, was botched, I’m just now getting back to playing guitar again (2022).
