BIOGRAPHY

Footsie and the Psychos are an electro indie rock band based in Sydney. They are often compared with the vibrant energy of the 'Yeah Yeahs Yeahs', the raucous noise of ‘Sleigh Bells’ and the electronic coolness of ‘Polica’. Footsie and the Psychos are creating waves on the Sydney local scene, generating devotion and rapture in their audience.

With a presence that is truly magnetic, Irish front woman Sarah O’Connell aka ‘Footsie’ is alluring to watch. She is demanding, engaging, and is empowered by the dark electro sounds pumped out by members Jenny Mitchell on bass and Matt Chaplin on synth.

Formally introducing themselves with their debut single ‘Desolate Dance’ in June 2013, and plans to release an EP by the end of the year, Footsie and the Psychos are a band to watch.
