Los Angeles based producer Nick Alvarado and vocalist EVeryman have teamed to form Little Giants, who aim to make proper hip-hop music for your mind, body and soul. Pairing inspired, thought-provoking lyrics set over crisp, funky beats, the sounds of Little Giants harken back to the golden era of hip-hop. This release commemorates the memory of Nick 'Pumpkin' Alvarado, who touched thousands of people with his signature music productions and acclaimed DJ sets at top music festivals and clubs across the US and abroad. He tragically passed away on March 25th 2016, but his generous spirit and magical music will continue to live on. 

To honor his memory, Nick's best friend and Little Giants production partner, Evan 'Everyman' Shafran, started The Little Giant Acorn Foundation for The Arts, a non-profit organization that helps children get started in music or the performing arts who otherwise could not afford to do so. Nick absolutely loved to share his passion for music and performance art with the next generation and nothing gave him more joy. 

By purchasing this LITTLE GIANTS album you are helping to ensure that Nick's spirit continues to shine while ensuring that the next generations of 'little acorns' have the means to pursue their creative passions. It was always a dream of Nick's to have a record label of his own and to help the youth. On his anticipated second album, Good Deeds, EVeryman has deftly followed up his breakthrough debut with thirteen scorching new tracks that find the versatile MC dropping his razor-sharp rhymes over a kaleidoscope of beats from some of the brightest producers in bass music. Good Deeds fuses the conscious 'Golden Era' hip hop EVeryman was raised on with the future funk he now mixes up during his DJ sets, to create a collection of his most personal songs to date that will have you rocking with him from start to finish.

@Moto-Tembo is an up and coming House DJ/Producer. He fell in love with music before he could walk and never stopped loving it. Over the years this love has brought him to many different genres and preforming techniques. His breadth and appreciation for music in all forms has allowed him to create a unique musical concoction in his original tracks and sets. He cooks up funky bass lines, soul, hip-hop, groove house, and g-house into a delicious house cocktail that always fires up the dance floor.

Kat Factor is a classically trained songstress in the folk-jazz-indie-electro fusion arts. Incorporating sounds from the soul to honor the interconnection within all of life. With a passion for music expression and social awareness, her melodic storytelling is imbued with images of life, death, love, justice and healing. Kat uses her background in Anthropology, medicine and music to tell a story about her take on the human experience.

ALBUM ART WORK: TELOPA is a traditional oil painter born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is influenced by the Mannerism painting school of Fountainebleau, as well as the mythological themes and symbolic allegories of the classics. Telopa also finds inspiration from the collaborative activation of his surroundings. He enjoys interactive participation amongst festival goers in hopes to generate relief to the abundance of the mundane.

"I am so honored to be back at Shambhala's 2019 season at The Living Room Stage this year. I am playing two live EVeryman and Little Giants hip hop sets. One on Saturday and one Sunday. These will be primarily hip hop sets of my original tracks and me rapping live. I wanted to make this mix different. I wanted to make a mix of all my friends from Shambhala over the years and some of my new favorite tunes fused with old school hip hop classics. I chose to incorporate music that reminded me of all the good times I have had at Shambhala over the years. This mix was made with the memory of Jon Horvath of @FortKnoxFive and Nicholas Alvarado, A.K.A. @Pumpkin , both dear friends and DJ's who we lost too soon. These men both changed the way I hear and feel music. I would not be the DJ or performer I am today without their guidance and support. I would not be performing at Shambhala if Jon did not do bring me to meet Hoola when he lost his voice and could not get on the mic back in 2013. Jon handed me the mic and said, "Alright brother go Introduce Mark Farina right now." The rest is history. We all miss them both dearly, through the Funk Family worldwide Jon and Nick's funky souls live on. Thanks to Sara and Hoola for having me back to help host the Living Room Stage. Can't wait to be back to perform at the best party in the world! I hope you all enjoy this mix."

Evan Shafran a.k.a. EVeryman delivers a fluid flow, with conscious optimistic lyricism. His high energy beats convey influences from old school hip hop and reggae which brings the crowd to life up on their feet. As a DJ, Everyman drops anything from breaks, glitch hop, sexy house, to drum and bass. Everyman is one half of 'Little Giants', a hip hop group formed with LA DJ/ Producer Pumpkin aka Nick Alvarado.

EVeryman, aka Evan Shafran is also a screen actor, seen briefly in the oscar award winning films "Barbie," & "Get Out." Also check him out on Netflix's "Griselda," "Dead To Me", HBO's "Barry" and in the upcoming films "A Hollywood Christmas," "Something From Tiffany's" and Deon Taylor's "Don't Fear." He has most recently starred in Smashwerks Films "Storyteller." The film was selected as a semifinalist for "Best Dramatic Short" at The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. EVeryman plays in memory of Pumpkin, his best friend, Little Giants teammate, and musical comrade who passed away on March 25th, 2016. His sets include unreleased Little Giants productions, classic Pumpkin remixes, and some of Pumpkin's favorite songs. Plus some brand new EVeryman collaborations and unreleased gems. 

In Honor, He has started a society called 'Little Giant Acorn Foundation for the Arts', a not-for-profit charity organization established to provide music and arts programs to children who do not have the means to attain them otherwise. To further the legacy, EVeryman will be realizing Pumpkins' dream of having a music label and their music on vinyl - watch out for the full catalog of Little Giant Acorn Records singles and remixes coming out on "Little Giant Acorn Records" in 2018 with new remixes from Fort Knox Five, Qdup, Pumpkin and more! 

He's performed and toured with acts such as Pretty Lights, Odesza, Mark Farina (to name a very small few) and has graced some massive festival stages, such as Coachella, Burning Man, Shambhala, and Lightning in a Bottle. Peep his music mixes here:
