PoweRaid - August 6, 6PM - 2:45AM - Twitch Raid Rave

Closing out the night from 1-2:45AM, I brought a calming vocal liquid vibe to the stream. After great performances from Corrine, DK, DJ Strobe, DJ Little Fever, Manindabag, and GoodieSmooth, it was on me to finish the stream. I settled it down with vocal liquid even a house DJ could love. I kicked off the set with a Bailey bootleg of Mr. Fingers classic Can You Feel It? and kept things moving with my favorite liquid tunes of the first half of the year. Smooth sounds from Satl and Submorphics played off jazzy notes from Funkware and FX909, with a healthy dose of Hospital along the way. I blended my way through an hour and forty-five minutes of drum and bass bliss before calling an end to the PoweRaid Rave. 

Thank you to Manindabag for giving me the opportunity to play, and I look forward to the next rave next month! Thanks to 100 Proof Crew and Kandie for Life for putting everything together. It was a pleasure to be on a bill with some great DJs and streamers.

WAVE BACK IN TIME

This is my gift to you all. I am blessed in my life in so many ways and aspects but the biggest blessing of all is the people I have met in my life and it is here that I pay tribute to you all you wonderful people . Originally dedicated to my long lost friends of the Ffeirce days, an era buried beneath something which is deemded as normality as if it almost never happened. This is to all my little helpers along the way that I have had so much to thank for and will try to give back for the rest of my life. From the inspirators to the classically trained and superstars I have been blessed and lucky to call my buddies. 


In remembrance, homage and refreshment of an era which once was. The 90s and not nearly as much the early 00s. This mix is for each of my teachers and comrades. To all the sweeties that have given me so much love, support and encouragement and it is the strongest gift I can put forward ever. You will notice below in the track listing there are specific tracks I have labeled with someones name of whom I know from ancient past and is the tune selected which either will remind me of them or in some way hold a strong connection for me to them. Some of you whom I HAVE connected with on a particular track will possibly know the track or tracks wiTHout even me having to say which is the precisely the point of doing this. Others of you I find certain tracks that embody my memory of you or make me think of you and here I deliver you with my strongest poise that track. 

Three parts. 3 stories and 3 very different sides of my soul and expression. 3 very different sets forming a 10 hour plus homage to such an awesome 15 years of my life. 	THANKYOU!




SIDE A - DEBUT(Wodjers First Mix Reworked and Remastered with 2013) 1996/2013

Part 1 is rework and remix production of my first ever mixtape which never made it to the digital world(..... until now!! Ha Haaa) This is coupled with tunes which were ever so engrained into the souls that they encompassed throughout the digs. The original mix was the first ever recorded mix completed by myself and went on to give me safe passage into 2 different Dj competitions both of which I was lucky enough to become runners up. This mix had been requested time and time again from the circles I associated with as was the request to have it digitally captured. Adding in my own production and also tracks which were notable of this era, I have created this mix which partly is also motivated to pay homage to a crew I owe a lot to as well as a culture which in hindsight was legendary.

This theme is kept rhoughout all three parts with the third part melding more with the recent style I feel is more right for me.

Part 2 is authentically mixed to represent the Hard Trance/Hard House scene of the mid to late 90s AS WELL AS THE pSY TRANCE fESTIVAL SCENE BETWEEN 2000 AND 2004. This leads into part 3 which pays homage to the uplifting club infused rhythms of this time with a 2013 approach and style intwined which I helps for me to not make the old progressive sound too dated which sometimes it can and so as to avoid this risk. I hope you find this mix as rewarding to listen to as I have found to put together.

'I am O.K.' reads the title of Koletzki's upcoming album. In 2014, after 26 years as a musician, he clearly achieved what he set out to do. In the spring his new album drops, he's touring the US, and then he’ll be moving the studio and office to Berlin's Holzmarkt. Hypothetically he could have a bit of a rest, but he wouldn't think of it, cause he's having way too much fun.

Evan Shafran, also known professionally as EVeryman, is an American rapper, actor, comedian, DJ, and B-boy. He is recognized for his conscious lyricism, high-energy performances, and multidisciplinary contributions to music, theater, and film. Shafran is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity Association, and ASCAP.
Early Life and Education
Shafran was born in Portland, Maine, to Jeff and Theda Shafran, proprietors of Tommy’s Hardware and Scuba Diving shop. He began performing at age 7, encouraged by his mother, Theda, who passed away in 1997. His brother and best friend, Brad Shafran, is a dog lover and incredible yoga teacher in Maine. His Father still resides in Maine with his step-mother Dottie. 
Shafran graduated from Deering High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Theatre and Sociology from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, graduating summa cum laude. He later relocated to Los Angeles in 2008.
Career:
Music
As EVeryman, Shafran is known for his optimistic and socially conscious hip-hop. He co-founded the hip-hop group Little Giants with DJ/producer Pumpkin. He has performed at major festivals including Coachella, Burning Man, Shambhala, and Lightning in a Bottle, and has shared stages with artists such as Pretty Lights, Odesza, and Mark Farina. He currently runs the Independent Music Label, Little Giant Acorn Records.
Acting and Theater
Shafran's acting credits include appearances in films and television series such as Barbie, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Get Out. He starred in Storyteller, a short film that was a semifinalist for Best Dramatic Short at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. He is also an associate producer with Mir Productions, a Brooklyn-based theater company, where he co-wrote and performed in plays including If There’s Jack in the Box Get Out and Hear NYC. 
Other Work
Shafran co-authored the children's book The Little Giant Acorn, available on Amazon.  He is active in advocating for social and environmental issues and promoting diversity and representation in media.
Personal Life
Shafran resides in Los Angeles, California, and maintains strong ties to his roots in Maine and New York City. He is an avid Star Wars fan and continues to engage with various facets of the performing arts. Peep his music mixes here:
