FJAAK | Awakenings Easter Festival 2022

Acid is Kegffnayy's key element. In 2015 Kegffnayy experimented with thriving beats
combined with countless acid riffs. This caused him to create projects with a more Hardcore
sound and Industrial Breakbeats, which were highly inspired by the work of Aphex Twin.
With his sets, he strives to surprise his audience. Delivering dark, eccentric and trippy Electro
alternated with more up tempo Acid Techno and Breakbeat.
His acidic tracks have flowed through various historical and distinctive venues such as H7
Warehouse at Intercell, Het Magazijn, Warehouse Elementenstraat, BASIS, TOFFLER and also
Radion. Furthermore, he introduced his contemporary yet 90's inspired sound to raves in
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Paris. You can also find him at multiple radio shows throughout
the country, and he's having a monthly Radio show at Operator Rotterdam.
In March 2018 Kegffnayy decided to bring new creative minds together and released
compilation albums on his Everyone On Acid label. The main idea of this label is to build a
platform and bring known artists together with new talented producers, releasing albums
where the characteristic 303 acid sound is leading.
Small side project named “lower_flower”. Multiple perspectives in a more experimental
mindset, expecting ambient compositions.

Since the 90s, the characteristic 303 acid sound has been one of the main elements in most electronic DJ sets. We dedicate a series of online mixes from talented artists, which will contain those smiley-facing sounds. Electro, techno, rave, breakbeats, house, acid acid acid!
Every first week of each month, a 1-hour acid mix will be uploaded on our Soundcloud!

This June, we are here with our 9th "On Acid" show, and this time we went more to the southern parts of Europe by inviting the Lyon-based acid fanatic Jibis. He strives to touch multiple electronic genres containing different kinds of acid styles with his current set. Moreover, he did his first EOA release at volume 6, where a slowly-evolving acid belter "Acid Generator" was composed! We are looking forward to dancing on acid for this one!

Acid is Kegffnayy's key element. As label owner of the Dutch acid label Everyone On Acid (@everyoneonacid), he brought new, creative minds together to bring acid to the dance floors in various rave genres. In 2023, the label celebrated its 5th anniversary with a massive compilation containing a lot of EOA ambassadors.

Kegffnayy went on a spacey acid trip with a mix full of acid trancers to let you float away. He joined the latest PULZARVA002.2 trance release with his track "Staying Alive" and will celebrate this with a 1-hour podcast for the label. Lately, this style has brought him complete acid ecstasy while playing it. How trance is expressed on the dance floor in different ways is truly enjoyable: crazy hypnotic in the early hours or highly energetic at peak time. Just let the acid flow!

At OBERHAUM, Kegffnayy presented a special set that reached back into the years 2014–2017,  a defining era when their sound first began to take shape. This was the time when the raw energy of industrial techno and acid took hold, heavily inspired by the Beukplaten and Reaktor communities that fueled their earliest productions. Pounding kicks, distorted breakbeats, and relentless 303 lines laid the foundation for Kegffnayy’s journey into hardcore and acid. 

Revisiting those tracks felt like a return to the roots rough, rebellious, and charged with raw emotion. While acid remains the core of their music today, this set stood as a tribute to where it all began.

Bloody Mary celebrates the 10th anniversary of her Dame-Music imprint with a two-part vinyl series this Autumn, handpicking seven of her favourite artists to join her on the label.

Volume 1 sees Thomas P Heckmann return with ‘Fluffy Fingers’ following previous contributions as part of the label’s ‘Melting Point Series’, whilst Tim Taylor also makes his return to the label with ‘Acid Ring’ following the release of ‘Pleasure Unit’ alongside DJ Slip last summer. Next, Tin Man, an artist who is no stranger to the acid sound, makes his label debut with ‘Fear Of Acid’, before handing over to Bloody Mary herself as she delivers her latest production ‘Reclaim’ to round out the first package.
