Emma García began classical training on the double bass in 2001, and in 2004 started playing along to her favorite Talking Heads songs on the bass guitar. She is a 2014 graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, minors in Jazz studies and Anthropology and performed with several notable musicians and professors including Bruce Johnstone, Dr. John Bacon, Arturo Sandoval, Helen Sung and Colin Maier. Having toured and performed with bands like The Town Pants and The Farmer And Adele, García is now gigging with several other bands in the world famous, “Music City,” of Nashville, Tennessee. She loves bringing her bass and vocal skills to Jazz, Rock and Pop along with songwriting for each of them.

Serenity by the Falls is a recording project founded by Michael O'Rourke with a changing and growing line up of musicians.   The name was thought of at a semi-frozen waterfall in late December in upstate NY.  When on a hike, Mike and his girlfriend Caroline felt a feeling of serenity by the falls that took their breath away and helped them de-stress from chaotic suburban/urban life.
