Nicholas John Warren (Bristol, Inglaterra, 24 de octubre de 1968) más conocido como Nick Warren, es un DJ y productor de música electrónica Inglés. Es conocido por sus ocho álbumes editados por Global Underground,1 así como por ser miembro del dúo Way Out West. Además, es el responsable de A&R en Hope Recordings.
Nick Warren comienza su carrera en 1987,​ especializándose en el reggae y la música independiente. A inicios de 1990, ya se había convertido en uno de los disc jockeys más importantes de Brístol,​ gracias a que fungió como telonero de Massive Attack. A mediados de ese mismo año, comenzó su residencia en el centro nocturno Cream de Liverpool.

En 1994, mientras era empleado de una tienda de discos, Warren conoció al productor Jody Wisternoff, con quien decidió trabajar conjuntamente.​ La primera producción del dueto fue la canción Paradise is the Sound, que se presentó bajo el nombre artístico «Sub-Versión 3». Los dos siguientes lanzamientos fueron emitidos bajo el nombre artístico «Echo».

Posteriormente, en 1997, el grupo dio a conocer su álbum primicia, Way Out West, del que tomó su actual nombre.

Paralelamente a su participación en Way Out West, Nick ha trabajado de forma independiente, como lo hacen constar los sencillos In Search of Silver y Buenos Aires —dados a conocer en 2010 y 2011, respectivamente—, así como el Psychedelic Wheel Mix hecho al sencillo Naive, de Tom Glass,​ y el lanzamiento de su programa radiofónico Sound Garden por Frisky Radio.

Wow. 200 Episodes already! We would like to thank our beloved community from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible support. No words can describe the feeling to see our passion project receiving approval from such a wonderful, engaging and steadily growing crowd. It is wonderful too, that our fun concept can motivate our most favourite artists to deliver 200 incredibly delicious cocktails of electronic music over the past 5 years. Looking at the lineup for 2022, we're not lying if we tell you it's gonna be even better!

Ben and Flo created Schirmchendrink together. And while recording their first Schirmchendrink episode, their current collab was born: Gimérique.

Even tough it got a little quiet these days around the duo with releases on Sound Avenue or Harabe Records, they have lots of music coming up soon including collaborations with amazing talents they met, guess what, on their Schirmchendrink journey. 

It's amazing to have you guys back together behind the meanwhile world-famous Schirmchendrink bar counter. While Carribbean Cask was a link to Ben's favorite drink, they brewed something special for the 200 episode anniversary. It's delicious ingredients bring their special craft IPA notes of dreamy yet always groovy deep house pearls. As usual, their storytelling approach adds its unique touch to another fantastic Gimérique ride.

Born in Colombia and based in New York, Kalaman has absorbed the textures of many settings as fuel for his musical project. Years of wandering throughout the world have formed Kalaman’s identity, inspiring him to create with deep feelings and intention.

Kalaman’s music is a delicate balance of the organic and the electronic. He performs a wide range of music, from downtempo to deep house, always imprinting his unique mark and creating intimacy with all crowds, large and small. Performances within Burning Man & related communities, Do Not Sit on the Furniture Miami, and Gospel New York earned him a following of loyal music lovers.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this week's edition, @mitch_oliver takes over the podcast series ahead of a wonderful EP he prepared for us, to be released in a couple of months on the label.

Mitch Oliver’s goal is to share his passion for music, one beat at a time. Fascinated by music at a very young age, he is often described as a music curator with is versatile and flexible sound. What matters to him is that the music contains a melodic groove, filled with emotions. Over the last three years, Mitch has played in renowned clubs in Montreal while pushing his own events: Aurora. Mitch Oliver is now devoting all of his time into music production and has just completed a yearlong intensive program to become a sound engineer.

We are happy to welcome him to our family, and we hope you enjoy this podcast as much as we do!
