Beautiful! Some suggestions... I'd like to hear more sub with the kick (also to make it warmer).

Arpeggiating notes are beautiful, but I think there needs to be more variation. Like consider leaving out the guitar entirely for a section. Another idea, use full chords for a section instead of arpeggios. 3/4 in perhaps introduce a new element?

In my recent travels thru South East Asia, for 2 days I crossed  the river Mekong on a slow boat full with other travelers and their stories. This song is for the incredible moments  spent there, lost in time.

My KCRW radio show is every Wednesday night 12-3am, so for the past 5 years I've never been able to go to Low End Theory. Gaslamp Will and I said enough is enough, and planned it so I can take the night off and rock w/ some old friends that I never get to play with, and feel the energy of Low End Theory.

...I was super hyped that some other friends, Mark de Clive-Lowe and Jonti were both gonna be performing as well, and THEN, once I got there I heard word that JAMES BLAKE was yet another special unannounced guest. Damn I'm a master at being in the right place at the right time.

So obviously this is a distorted recording and I was pushing the system hard since I didn't often go full buggout like this back in those days, but if ever a crunchy recording would work, it's one of crunchy tunes like these.

After taking a break from touring non-stop with major acts like , Frankie Valli and the Four Season, All 4 One, CTA, Wayne Brady, Taylor Dayne, Fred Durst of Limp Biskitz and jazz acts like saxophonist Mindi Abbair, to name a few, Robbie concentrated his creative energy into manifesting Eviali.



Inspired by contemporary artists such as Bonobo, Quantic, Clozee, Tychoo, and Emancipator, Robbie mixes his jazz and Mediterranean roots, shaped and interwoven into a tapestry largely influenced by his recent world travels, particularly to Southeast Asia. Bridging the raw organic feel of acoustic and world ethnic music with the classical instrumentation of Spanish guitar, Italian mandolin, and violin with the psychedelically delicious contemporary appeal of electronic sounds, Angelucci's Eviali is its own unique category for fusion genres. The most important element of all in his aural concoction is the unmistakable air of romance that unfolds in his writing style on this album. This sentiment is honored in the title of the project EVIALI. "I Viali” was the street in Robbie's hometown where the teenagers would “go to hide from our parents and have a social life with other teenagers…flirt…make out… all of that stuff.” EVIALI most certainly is a return to the soul’s true calling for Robbie, a deepening of his relationship to sensuality and the spirit.

Eviali has been showcased in clubs throughout California and festivals such as Lightning In a Bottle and Symbiosis.
