A special Japan connection for the next release on DJ Nobu’s Bitta label. Osaka-based Erik Luebs joins the roster with an EP of iconic, trance-influenced techno melancholia. Having released most of his work through his own DIY channels, Luebs' sounds have reached many dancefloors worldwide. He now teams up with Bitta for something special. On Nontemporal Void, Luebs delivers four tracks that perfectly showcase his diverse sound palette. Each track hits a different box of energy—all while injecting a healthy dose of hypnotism. With a keen eye for detail, the EP moves from slowly built-up tension to eyes-closed techno grooves and synth-heavy euphoria, showcasing the many sides of a magnificent sound designer and creative artist.

DJ Ali's production skills and live sets have traveled throughout the underground scene worldwide. Having honed his craft over the years as both a musician and live artist, DJ Ali is known for his dedication to live performances and his love for nostalgic rhythms, drawing inspiration from the late '90s and early 2000s.
In addition to excelling in live sets, DJ Ali is a passionate DJ exploring the realms of Trance, Tribal, and percussive techno, bridging sounds from the past and present.

“In this mix I explore different sub genres of techno. The tracks I play are some of my favorite to play at the moment, some are bright and some are dark. A Lot of this mix is based around the theme of rhythmic and percussive techno highlighting the essence of the early 2000's style of techno. Some old, some new.”

Inter-continental collaborative label @amniote-editions has resurfaced with its latest capsule. This dual release sees the debut album from Naarm/Melbourne producer @hasvat-informant paired with a massive 21-track digital compilation, 'Refraction of Light Vol. II'. The label, run by @mamasnake and @t-n_dj, continues its commitment to sounds spanning the more cerebral side of ambience, IDM, techno, trance and beyond.

'Plasty' is Gadigal Land/Sydney producer @a-m-u-w-a's contribution to that compilation.

The producer, head of his own label @oomycota_label with iconic local DJ @tangeladj, is becoming increasingly known as a purveyor of intentionally warped goods. No stranger to releasing via Amniote, 'Plasty' sees amuwa delivering a psy-tipped, extra chuggy piece of 'tek' begging for play in the coming doof season.

'Refraction of Light Vol. II' releases officially on Thursday, October 30 via Amniote Editions' Bandcamp.
