If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept SoundCloud Go tracks, which can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which will be invisible to everyone. Panic Attack is a song I wrote about my experiences with panic attacks. Mine used to be triggered by health based things, and I was such a hypochondriac. I'd have a tiny little ache or pain somewhere, that might happen to be in the same area as an important organ, and I would catastrophize it, thinking it was something really serious, then I'd have a panic attack. The lyrics in the song describe the situation, "you're like darling watch out, look where this is heading, you don't need no ambulance right now. I'm like simmer down, call the paramedic, you're there trynna tell me its a panic attack" My parents are telling me it just a panic attack and I'll be absolutely fine, but I don't believe them because they're not medics, and in my mind I'd need a paramedic just to put my mind at ease that it's not anything serious. Luckily though 98% of the time I listened to my parents, calmed down eventually and didn't ring for an ambulance. I hope this song helps others who may be in the same situation. I'm absolutely fine now and haven't really had any panic attacks for over a year.
