Swaggz is a young 23 year old artist from Port Elizabeth.  The name is an acronym for " Self Winning And God Given Zimoja". This is because, Swaggz believes everything he does for himself; is a victory for him as an individual; and that his talent is God-Given. The word " Zimoja" is derived from the Xhosa language, and is a slang word meaning " all is well/every is good". 

His musical dream started in 2011, in Grade 6, when he started writing songs about what he wanted to own once he grew older. Most songs were inspired by the people around him and how they treated him.

He then later discovered a talent of songwriting properly about 2 or 3 years later. His fondness for producing inspirational and relatable music grew from then.

Growing up he's always been inspired by the likes of Drake, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar who have inspired his rap element of his craft. The Likes of Partynexydoor, Bryson Tiller, Eli Sostre and Chris Brown have been the frontrunners in inspiring his vocalist element of his music.

Today Swaggz is an amazing lyricist and Songwriter. This is seen in his debut single " Needed Me ".
