A seasoned veteran DJ for over 25 years, he's done it all. Taimur conceived the infamous Blk|Market Membership parties in NYC from 2006-2017 and was a resident DJ. He was the head dance buyer and started the US distribution wing for many US labels at Halcyon Records shop from 2008 until 2016. Taimur’s work helped lead the resurgence of the local Brooklyn scene. With 18+ years of history and accolades for helping to revive one of the world’s most important dance music scenes, Taimur and Blk|Market Membership holds a highly esteemed position as architects of New York’s contemporary scene.

On the strength of these accomplishments, Taimur has devoted himself full-time to his DJ & production career and currently resides in Miami. He launched his vinyl only record label Blkmarket Music with wife Ostara in 2018 which features releases by Reade Truth, a 2 part Craig Richards's lost tracks with remixes by Rhadoo, Subb-an & Adam Shelton and more ; a collab between Taimur with Miami electro legend Gosub, two T.A.O (Taimur.Amo.Ostara) Ep's 'Enter your Mind' and 'Return to Life' EPs, Toronto's Hypnotic Mindscapes trio Payphone featuring Cosmic JD, an electro ep by JLM Werx, dancefloor jams by Thailand's DOTT, and Reade Truth’s sophomore 6 track mini album 'The Beauty of the Dark.' The latest release is his latest collaboration Taimur x Artro - Mindframe. 

He's also just started his new sub label Blkmarket Music Underground Party Edits with Ostara that focuses on DJ club edits. The first release was by DJ Spun's - Party Edits [BUMP-E000]

Forthcoming confirmed label(s) releases include T.A.O's 'Dreama' 2x12" Legends remix double pack, Buraye's 3 x 12" ‘Holographic Visitors’ Album, and EP by Taimur & Jean Pierre, Jay Tripwire, Facets, DJ Sweater, Francula, Oswaldo, Snuffo, Manuk, and Jovi & Alessandro just to name a few.

Between his record label(s), DJing gigs and producing, Taimur has also opened up a vinyl emporium with Ostara in Miami. T Bag Records Shop Miami was born on April 10 2021 and is a vinyl shop that is dedicated to strictly underground dance music of many genres both new, old and rare.

Started in October 2006 by Steve Lawler, VIVa Music began life as a conduit for the internationally renowned DJ and Producer to release the wealth of underground music he encountered on his travels. Now, just a few years later VIVa is a self-contained hotbed for new talent which draws attention from DJs, punters and producers alike. Having previously handled the now-classic and traditional vinyl label Harlem Records, Lawler decided VIVa was to be a forward thinking outlet for quality music and boldly announced that VIVa was to be digital only. As well as a clear mission to look towards the future of the music industry, this was a step to ensure that music could be released quickly and retain the freshness that the labels A&R was struck by. Far from the template set out by many of Lawler's contemporaries, VIVa quickly established itself as a label where artists could be themselves and write music that isn't defined by just A&R, but by one simple guideline: Quality. This has meant the label has gone on to release music from a wide range artists, from major players like Lawler and Audiofly through to burgeoning talent like Livio & Roby and Nicole Moudaber. In keeping with an ever evolving outlook, 2009 will see VIVa further transformed. Worldwide tour nights, Festival Arena, International Residency's and a new UK based residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London are just the tip of the iceberg. Always ones to buck trends, the VIVa family are pressing vinyl again alongside it's digital output as well as expanding its roster of relatively unknown talent rather than rely on the tried and tested. At the forefront of this exclusive roster of talent are the likes of Vrajitoroo, David Pher, Dragosh, Adroid Cartel, Jimmy Hill, Alex Tepper, TRNNSTR, Darius Syrossian & NYRA, Erphun and Sean Miller but VIVa will continue to work with what it considers extended family for both releases as well as remixes; which means the likes of Jamie Jones, Audiofly, Simon Baker, Tiefschwarz, Bearweasel, David Durango and many, many more. Mark Fanciulli is one of modern electronic music’s most complete artists. An innovative and forward thinking producer whose dexterity and creativity behind the decks have made him a much desired DJ around the world. With a strong work ethic and a clear and determined vision for the future, it has been no surprise to see Mark climb the ranks as quickly and with as much humility as he has managed since his 2011 debut.

It was that debut that got Mark’s solo career off to the perfect start. “The Tide” was signed up to Joris Voorn’s Rejected imprint and went on to be the biggest track of summer 2011. Quite an induction, but not a wholly unexpected one when you consider the technical ability of this gifted producer who had spent the last few years honing his skills on the studio desk. “Keep On” a collaboration with Jordan Peak on Area Remote later that year and then his own “Sacrifice” on Saved Records in 2012 brought further success and garnered Mark wide critical acclaim and a helped yield a particularly strong fan base for a young producer with relatively few releases. But Mark has always been someone who focuses on quality ahead of quantity. “Cutoff” which was released via Leena Music and 2013’s “Game Plan” on Saved Records confirmed his much deserved status as one of the scene’s most exciting producers whose ability enables him to craft tracks across the entire spectrum of electronic music.

That same attitude also comes into play during Mark’s engaging DJ sets. A desire to play across the board and create a proper journey for the crowd has made Mark an extremely popular performer at the best clubs and festivals around the world. He is as adept at killing the floor at clubs like El Row in Barcelona, Amsterdam’s Studio 80, Space in Ibiza and Ministry of Sound in London as he is rocking festivals such as Sonar, WMC and the roadblock Saved events in his hometown of Maidstone. 

Having achieved so much already and still only at the age of 26, Mark has a bright future ahead of him. With his skill set and self-drive all at his disposal, he holds all the cards, it’s just up to him in which direction he will head next.
