Ok, let’s write an unusually magnificent biography of Evol Ai, upon everyone who would come in contact  with these words will immediately listen to all of Evol Ai discography and became a life-time follower. Piece of cake one would say…

The music of Evol Ai is genre-bending, great sounding and cathartic beyond measures. Don’t believe it? Great, you shouldn’t, it is all just a PR crap, but still, as the Buddha said, don’t believe me on my words, check by your experience.

The accomplishements of Evol Ai are grandioze, beyond imaginable, bigger than Kanye West. Another PR bullshit of course, the reality is that Evol Ai could or couldn’t be on the path to greatness in the past, getting some critical attention with the releases on Compost Disco, Nang and No Static, its Dar K Disco remix by Ilya Santana was even featured in the House Of Lies series with Don Cheadle. Dark Disco EP also got some good coverage in the Nudisco scene, got rave reviews in MixMag, and the people always left the dancefloor smiling after Evol Ai dj sets. Evol Ai also made an original soundtrack for the Crossing Iceland documentary, but this was 6 years ago and in the harsh reality of today’s music industry and brutal acquisition of followers on social media landscape, Evol Ai is just close to being forgotten and placed on the shelf of indie music history

Yet, after 6 years of absence, while building a new studio, becoming a father to the most wonderful little boy, spending countless hours sitting on the meditation cushion and slowly but steadily working with pletora of great musicians, the debut album of Evol Ai called Roles We Play, has emerged.

So what now? Losing all the nerves, hope and enthusiasm for music while trying to find a decent label? Maybe. Be bold and brave and dive deep into self-publishing and most probably getting divorced by wife and hated by child in the process due to total indifference to them because I spent all my free time and energy for shameless self-promotion? Maybe too minus the divorce and alientation from my son. 

In the end, life will unfold and music will be heard. one way or another.
