Two deep house tracks that are anything but deep. While they drive you rolling forward, you dream of beach, palm trees and sunset on the horizon. Both over 10 minutes long, but you think at the end: Already over?
Again such a story, which is typical for Evosonic. In 1997 Andre's music was featured several times on Evosonic Radio in the "Unreleased Tracks" and he got a spot on the Evosonic Club Members CD in 1998 with the track "Chicken Wings". Over all the years Evosonic received a demo from him every now and then. In 2021 it was these two sensational tracks that led to this release on our label. We are sure that this was only the beginning of many more releases. And not only on Evosonic Records. "Follow The Path" is definitely the number 1 on this two-tracker. Cool groove, nice melodies, mystical vocals and a fine, not boring arrangement. On "Glow In The Dark" this is actually almost all true, if it weren't for the slightly more aggressive mix and the fact that with two, one always has to be number 2.

Evosonic Radio was the world's first independent radio station for electronic music, which could be received via cable and satellite from 1997 to 1999. 
Evosonic Radio did not submit to the conventions of format radio, but gave its music editors and DJs a lot of freedom. 
This concept, unique in Germany, won the "German Dance Award" in the "Best Medium" category in January 2000. Chris-Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., who was responsible for the music played most of the time as program director, accepted this award. 15 years later he founded Evosonic Records. Today, as then, Chris-Maico Schmidt makes sure that the label does not submit to any conventions and that his artists have the freedom that is indispensable for the one same goal: high musical quality - then as now.

Julia Löwenherz wurde 1989 geboren und wuchs in Baden-Württemberg bei Mosbach auf. 
Schon früh entwickelte sie eine Affinität zur Musik, welche sich schon während der Jugend in die elektronische Richtung neigte.
2015 zog sie nach Köln. Hier kam sie erstmals mit dem Radio 674.fm in Berührung und bekam erste reale Eindrücke davon, was es heißt aufzulegen.
Fasziniert und inspiriert von den Möglichkeiten eines DJs, entwickelte sie schnell Interesse daran, selbst aufzulegen, beziehungsweise das „Handwerk“ zu beherrschen und mit der Musik zu experimentieren und jonglieren, dadurch ein neues Kunstwerk zu schaffen bei dem das Ergebnis größer ist als die Summe seiner Teile, das Gefühle und Emotionen transportiert.
Bis zum ersten offiziellen Gig vergingen weitere lehrreiche 2 Jahre. Nach dem ersten Set bei der Drumbulanz/674.fm folgten weitere, unter anderen auch bei Tagedieb. 
Zeitgleich lernte sie den Radiosender Evosonic kennen und lieben. Durch eine glückliche Fügung bekam sie dort tiefere Einblicke in das Radio- und Musikbusiness. Mit wenig praktischer Erfahrung, aber dafür kürzlich erlerntem theoretischem Wissen, einer Vision und Idee und dem Verständnis für Technik, überzeugte sie 2020 den Boss himself: Chris Maico Schmidt. 
Im Herbst des Jahres ergab sich für Julia die Chance, zusammen mit Noah Levin, dreimal im Monat das Evopool-Update Weekend Edition zu hosten, welche sie ohne zu zögern ergriff und seitdem ihr Glück nicht fassen kann.
