Born in Brownsville, Brooklyn NY and raised in Jamaica, Queens NY.

Shun used art to escape the negative path paved by his dysfunctional upbringing and curtailed his struggle in the form of self-expression, hence his music. 

Pressing play and moving forward, his journey to overcome his past oppression is reflected by his clever use of wit and metaphorical wordplay as comic relief. Nevertheless, Shun Holidae, a humble visionary artist with exceptional lyrics, celebrate the dynamics of life by means of his introspective (story-telling) verses and catchy club-baggers. His message is quite simple: "Loyalty before Love".

Siy was raised in Clinton, South Carolina where he resides to this day. Siy came into music at a young age listening to hip hop with his older cousins. No one knew he was freestyle rapping because he only did it alone due to his shyness. Siy became influenced off rappers that were out at the time some of these include:  No limit and Cash money camps, Biggie Smalls, Tupac, UGK, Eight ball and MJG, The LOX & DMX. 
At the age of 13 one of Siy’s old friends move back in to town Candice Bryson Also known as Derry Daze. She was rapping before she came back home to South Carolina. It was then when Siy came out of his shell do to a freestyle battle with Candice that showed his lyrical prowess. Soon after the two would get together to write rhymes and rap them to each other. By the age of 16 began to record them with a computer and were part of the rap group Bomb Squad. Siy became skilled in both Cool edit Pro and Fruity Loop Studio music creating programs.
Siy has recorded a number of songs including 4 mix tapes and 2 group efforts.  In 2008 Siy joined the 1G production group. 
In 2012 the Siy left 1G production group in pursuit of better opportunities.
Siy join with his producer to be a part of TSB productions.
